Very displeased with Sears Home Services. I scheduled an appointment with them to repair a built-in microwave. They postponed my appointment 2 days beyond the written confirmed appointment due to repair volume. On the third day when I called to confirm the time I could expect a tech I was told 3pm then at 320pm Dispatch called and said the appointment would need to be changed from today Saturday to the following Tuesday. With people coming tonight for dinner we are now forced to purchase a microwave oven. I have purchased appliances in the past frm Sears and had Sears service. I can see why the Sears brand is no longer what it was in the past. I will not purchase from or request service from them again...EVER.

Let me say, we LOVE Sears; however, this review has nothing to do with the company, just the Lancaster Park City location.

We have never had a good experience there, and on our last trip had a sales clerk talk on her Cell Phone while ringing up our purchases. She never once spoke directly to us, even as we paid cash and she gave us change.

They do have everything under the sun here, but getting served takes a lot of patience. We would rather just shop at another location, like when we visit our family out of the area.

This is a very nice sears located in the mall, it has everything you ever need. Downstairs it has electronics and appliances and tons of tools. Upstairs there is clothes and upholstery and comforters. The store is spacious and equipped with elevators for those who cant do escalators.

Sears doesn't take the time to properly help their customers. Instead, untrained salespeople rush through processes from securing the right item for pickup or charging a credit card. This often leaves to mischarges and the wrong products being purchased, especially in the electronics department. If you can get it somewhere else, do so, you won't regret it.

CONS: Sloppy customer service.
