My wife and I were travelling at night, on Christmas Eve, 2012 on our way to spend Christmas with family north of Des Moines, and hit a deer on I-35 at 70mph just south of Lamoni. Our car was destroyed, but we were pretty much unhurt thanks to seat belts and airbags. The Iowa State Police officer who rescued us called I-35 Auto and Truck to pick up our car, and then dropped us off at their office to wait for our relatives who drove 90 miles from Ankeny to pick us up. On this bitterly cold and windy night, I-35 Auto & Truck provided us with a warm and friendly place to wait and collect our wits - coffee on the house, comfortable chairs and a TV. There was no one in the office at that hour, but they gave us the run of the place.

We unloaded all our gear from our ruined car, and made it on to Ankeny for Christmas. During the following days my wife realized that she had forgotten to clear out one of the "cubby holes" in the car, which contained a number of items of moderate value, and we called I-35 Auto & Truck and the kind lady who answered the phone personally went out and cleared out these items, including a $20 bill, from the wrecked Corolla before our insurance company hauled it away. When we came back south on our way home to Texas, we stopped by and picked up a bag with everything we'd forgotten in it (including the $20 bill).

These folks were kind and friendly, sharing with us the information that during November, when the deer are in rut, they tow in 5 or 6 cars, trucks or 18-wheelers every day from this deer-infested stretch of high-speed interstate. I don't know what they charged our insurance company, but they were very sympathetic, laid back and professional with us - exactly what we needed after our very frightening experience.

I got stranded on I-35 with a tire blow out. TripleA and TechNet were both quoting me 2-4 hour wait time and $60+ for the call. After being routed to I-35 Towing by Roadside Assistance, they were there in no more than 15 minutes, quickly & efficiently took care of me, and their fee was most reasonable at $48. Recommend!

VERY rude and overpriced. I got several different stories on what it would cost to tow and fix my car. Nothing changed with what had to be done to my car, but the price just kept going up. This is the most unprofessional car shop I have ever been to.
