OMG!!!!!! You guys were the best ...starting from your superstar salesman...Noel Naughton......we had many estimates but he was the kindest & most available salesman!!!! Then moving on to the guys that moved us...it was like the calvary came to rescue us from our 6 month packing journey that left us tired and weary...they were polite, helpful and kind too!!!!! As for the guys who dropped the furniture in Vegas they were speedy and efficient...I thank god I went with you because I was on my last leg...and you made this a very very smooth transition form NY to Vegas...thank you kindly!!!!!!! Carol & John Sinnott I will be your highest referral...you guys were the best when we needed the best!! thank you again.....

Everybody lies to get business these days...that's one of my pet peeves, being told something is going to go a certain way or cost a certain amount and when it's all said and done nothing turned out the way it was promised!!!!! It is NOT like this at CA NY Express. Every time I called them they called back promptly. They quoted me a price and it was the same exact price upon delivery of my belongings. They worked with me on the delivery date (I am in school). The delivery guys were nice. They took care of my expensive furniture. They have 1 month of FREE storage. They were nice every single time I interacted with someone on the phone and in person. I have not had service like this in years! I wish they could teach other people how to run businesses!!!! I would recommend this company to anybody and everybody who needs movers!!! They made my 3,000 mile move very pleasant and easy!!!! I am so happy I chose to go with this company :)

I've used California New York Express twice now, and both times I've been extremely pleased with the experience. All of their guys took great care with packing and moving my stuff. They worked hard and took their time on both ends of the move, and as a result the only item that was broken was one margarita glass. Moving is stressful enough without having to worry about the quality of your movers. So I felt like I was in good hands with Cal NY Express. And ps. they were also reasonably priced, comparatively speaking.

Pros: Their staff is meticulous and hard working

Ron B an excellent estimator--professional and thorough.
Alex, Barbero, and 2 other amigos loaded all to your van here in El Granada--cheerful, friendly and energetic--appreciated tip for lunch on way back somewhere???
We were told a van would be in Tucson either 10/08 or 10/09. We arrived in Tucson eve of 10/07 staying in motel near home. Several calls between 10/08 and 10/11 kept telling us delivery date changed to Sat. then 7:00 am on 10/11. A neighborhood wedding procession was taking place Sat. and a large van would have ruined the wedding plans---not a good way to meet new neighbors. Also said 7 am on Sunday was also not a good idea tho we did leave handwritten notes in all mailboxes explaining any inconvenience. They arrived with a smaller van 10/11 at 3:00 pm. With our help (unwrapping ) finished quickly. We thoroughly enjoyed Ron 1 and Ron Jr. the 2 employees who brought belongings to our home.

Honestly, we enjoyed every employee of Ca N Y Express!! Fine, pleasant people--enjoyed knowing each fellow.

Only problem was we had to quickly arrange for 3 additional nights in a motel near 451 Convent there in Tucson. Stayed at least expensive place and cost was $226.76 for the 3 nights which when added to additional $250 charges (for chaning to a much smaller van) made total moving costs much higher than anticipated .

But yes, you may use the Yates family as a referral! The employees made the experience so cheerful and pleasant.

I moved 4th floor walk up in Brooklyn NY to Los Angeles.

Noel came to give me estimate on site, which is great. I had no idea how many boxes I would be using and I couldn't be sure about other company's phone estimate, but he was Pro and gave me quite solid number. and it was no more than any other company's estimate. but without worries of under estimating own inventory.

Then Teddy and his team came to pick up. They were cheerful, yet professional. They moved all of my 100+ boxes and some furniture in 3 hours! They numbered, secured boxes, wrap furniture and everything. After days of stressful packing, it was such a relief to get one of major thing done quick and smooth. I excluded a few items and total amount was adjusted to less than initial quote.

After 9 days, a day after I arrived in CA, they delivered everything. They came right on time and in less than 2 hours, it was ALL DONE! I was busy checking list for inventory so didn't get much chance to chat with guys, but they were very nice, too.

After all, it was such pleasure to use this company and if I will move back, I will call them again!

I promise thus guys that I write a review about there excellent service as soon as I'll finish unpacking?.
Well I finish unpacking a week ago I just now got the time to write about the wonderful experience I went through relocating from NY to LA.
To start with I have never done such move before and had a lot of fears regarding the whole procedure.
Well it all started when I fist mete peter the sales representative that explained everything to me and my wife who didn?t stopped asking him question about god-knows-what?.. And peter kept answering her every question with noble patient.
I thought to myself well they try to sale?.. It can't be that good?
Well folks, it is and better. Thanks to all the guides we got, we knew exactly how to pack stuff and the crew helped us with heavy more complicated things we have.
The moving specialist crow kept on the connection via e-mail and on the phone updating us on how the moving went along.
When we finally got to new house the local crew and truck were there just as promised.
All our belonging was unloaded and unpacked in a very professional manner.
With these final words I want to thank CNYE and every one working there

Moving from LA to NJ is no simple task? but thanks to California New York Express this task became so simple and easy. From the day CNYE's sales rep. got to my house in order to help me evaluate the amount of space I would require shipping (yes, they charge by cubic foot and not by weight like all other moving companies.)
The packing crew got to my apartment as scheduled ready to work, they were highly professional taking care of my stuff as if it was their own. Every box was marked, labeled and inventoried prior they load it to the truck.
During the shipping period I was in touch with my moving specialist and she answered all my questions and kept me informed of how the moving went along.
Delver day was as scheduled all my stuff was unloaded to my new apartment while I used the packing list making sure nothing was lost. All my stuff got with some negligible damages but overall condition was perfect!
Paying using credit card made it very comfortable and easy.
My overall experience is highly satisfied.

Read this contract carefully, because there are tons of hidden fees in here, like charging you 5% to use your credit card - who wants to carry around a thousand dollars in cash?

When i called to complain about this fee, the guy told me that he didn't care because I signed the contract.

They also gave me a moving window of 1-2 weeks and when they went outside this window, they again referred to a line somewhere in the contract. If the people you are talking to are touting 1-2 weeks (and it turns out they NEVER get anywhere 1 week, let alone across the country) this just makes them a bunch of liars.

DO NOT MOVE WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!

I moved from NJ to LA using this company and it was really great! Every time I had a question, I emailed my moving specialist and she got back to me within 30 minutes. They inventoried all of my stuff by putting sticker wth my name and a number on everything. When they were bringing it into new my apartment, they gave me the list and I checked off everything to make sure they weren't missing anything. The guys were all very nice as well. The pick up date was May 28 and they dropped it off June 9. It was not bad at all because every day I got an email update on where the truck was and when they were going to be here. The only thing I can say that was bad was that they said they were drdopping it off between 9 and 5 and they got here at 4. It would be a little easier if they gave me 9-12 or 2-5 like they did for pick up. I brought that up to them and they said they were working on it. Otherwise, I have no complaints, everything was in one piece! Use it if you are moving across the country!

Dare I say that moving from CA to NY was easy with this company! They are friendly, organized, efficient, and helpful. I had such a great experience with them, and because moving is so stressful that made all the difference in the world. I highly recommend California-New York Express!

I used CA NY Express to move from my fifth floor walk up in NYC to Los Angeles, CA. I had a great overall experience, from the time our consultant Noel came to take inventory of our apartment, to the delivery of our goods in a total of 9 business days. Their price was competitive compared to the other cross country moving lines which was a big plus. They had us check off each box that came off the truck in LA, from the checklist used in NYC to ensure that everything was there. Our boxes were in good shape and we also purchased extra insurance from Bakers (per their recommendation). Whenever I was told someone was going to show up, or call, they always did which I really appreciated.

Pros: Good follow-through on communication. Reliable. Competitive pricing.

I recently used moveeast to transport my stuff from Los Angeles to NYC.

The movers were fast, efficient and courteous!

Their paperwork was what convinced me to move with them. Everything was explained to me in writing and over the phone when I spoke with the estimator.

When I got my things in NYC the crew over there were great too.

All in all, I would say that moveeast is a class act! I am very happy with their work and would use them again if I ever move back.

I was moving from Manhattan to Los Angeles and the guys at this company were so completely helpful and thorough with my things. the experience was great,everyone was friendly and very fast! It was a very good experience, I will use them again and I do recommend them highly
