Dr. Lhota is by far the best dentist in the city. Like most people, I'm not someone who has ever been in a rush to go see a dentist. Since being introduced to Dr. Lhota by my sister-in-law four years ago, I no longer have a fear of having my teeth checked/worked on like I had before. He is extremely smart and explains exactly what is going on and what he is going to be doing, ie the purpose of the visit. And then he does his dentist thing and lo and behold everything works out great. I also can't stand needles, really who likes needles, and Dr. Lhota has handled my getting shots when necessary in a delicate and painfree manner which is much appreciated on my end. I couldn't recommend Dr. Lhota with any more enthusiasm if he paid me, which after writing this review, perhaps he should.

I love my teeth!

I had Invisalign done and then whitened my teeth with deep bleaching and I look like a totally different person. It's quite remarkable, and I have Dr. Lhota to thank for it! Thanks, doc!

Extreme Smile Makeover

I'm telling you, my teeth were scary. I had dark stains and a huge gap the size of the grand canyon. Enter: Dr. Lhota and my new porcelain veneers. Bam! I looked like a movie star in 2 visits. I don't have to hide my mouth anymore, seriously, this man changed my life.

Excellent care

My husband, Richard, needed emergency root canal treatment during our visit to NY from the UK in January 2008. Dr Lhota was amazing - the treatment was excellent and his approach was sympathetic. Although our trip was marred by Richard's painful mouth the professional care given was second to none and knowing that we could call Dr Lhota anytime for advice was a huge help for us in a city a long way from home. It meant Richard was able to smile for the camera as we saw in the New Year with all the other wonderful New Yorkers!

From the first moment you walked into the doors, you feel welcomed with the first HELLO. The staff answered all my questions and even offered to go beyond their job duties to help me out. My experience was truely a great one. After,meeting Dr. Lhota, I know there is no other dentist for me.

Dr Martin and all the staff have been not been judgmental to me for all the years I have neglected my teeth. She and everyone have made it easy for me to approach all my problems step by step. They are caring, competent, efficient and very warm. This is a very pleasant experience for me and I actually look forward to my visits!!
They also are very concerned about maximizing comfort and minimizing pain...

Professional Service, Attentive Staff, Great Experience

I have visited Dr. Martin for several years now. Both her and her staff are very professional. Be it regular cleaning, fixing a cavity, fitting a crown or getting implants she has done a meticulous job. I have been through all of these and cannot recommend her enough. She works with the best specialty dentists in NYC thus you may be sure all steps required for a particular procedure will be carried at the highest standards. The insurance claims are processed timely without any frills. I never had to bother calling my insurance company or going through an endless claims process like I hear other people do. The staff in the front is always nice and courteous. They remember your name and next time will approach you by name. All in one - wonderful experience!

I LOVE Dr. Jennifer Martin. Cannot imagine I lived a long time not having her as my dentist. I am the worst patient any doc could ask for. She's patient in explaining everything, she's very gentle and never hurt me, and she always asks how I feel through any procedure.

I had not been to a dentist in years. Honestly hated them. (bad childhood experince). Dr. Lhota and his staff totally changed that for me. He was kind and explained everything in detail. Dr. Lhota and his staff made me feel comfortable and at ease. To top it off the dental work he performed on me looks great!! I recommended my fiance and just for that he gets $50.00 off his visit and so do I. Cant get better than that!

The staff is sooo nice. The girls at the front desk were so helpful with my insurance questions, and the hygienist was really friendly and made me feel very comfortable. The doctor took a lot of time to talk with me and was really caring and informative. I am definitely staying with this office, and recommending Dr. Lhota to all my friends.
