I highly recommend Dr. Kenneth Hu for acupuncture. When I first went to see him I was not sure that acupuncture could help my lower back problems, which I had experienced for years. I had seen a variety of medical specialists that could not treat the symptoms. However, after two sessions of acupuncture with Dr. Hu, my symptoms decreased significantly and now I have no lower back pain. I continue with acupuncture on a routine, but less frequent basis to maintain the progress we made, but I no longer experience severe discomfort when I sit or travel. In recent months, I have also found acupuncture very helpful for a recurring hand problem. Dr Hu not only is highly competent, teaching acupuncture in Los Angeles, but also explains the treatment in both Eastern and Western medicine terms.

I injured my knee while I was working in my back yard and fell down from the tree. After surgery, I had 2 months of orthopedics, medication and physical therapy, but I continued to have pain and swelling that were unbearable. I got referral from my orthopedics to see Dr. Hu. I was amazed by the result of my 1st acupuncture treatment which Dr. Hu gave me because my pain relieved and swelling noticeable reduced. Dr. Hu also customized herbal remedy for my blood pressure and dry eyes problems and it also worked wonderful for me. Now is my 4th week of treatment and with each treatment the pain and swelling subsided. I am glad to find Dr. Hu and hope that this review will help others in similar circumstances.

After having no luck with conventional doctors treating me for a running injury, acupuncture was suggested to me by a fellow runner. This is how I came to know Dr. Hu I have been treated by Dr.Hu for various problems and have recommended him highly to friends and family. Acupuncture has been proven to work for a variety of medical issues. My wife has severe carpal tunnel and was helped greatly by acupuncture treatment. Conventional HMO medical doctors are too quick to always prescribe a pill for any problem. Dr.Hu can achieve the same or better results without the side effects in his extremely clean Pasadena office.

My 13 years old boy had chronic diarrhea and stomach ache for over 1 year. The pediatrician gave him all the test and even the gastrointestinal endoscopy but couldn't find the problem, so eventually the conclusion was due to stress. The pediatrician prescribed him anti-acid medicine but it can only help him to relieve the symptoms temporarily. My son's teacher recommended Dr. Hu to us. Dr. Hu gave my son acupuncture to relieve the stress which I could see the result immediately, and also prescribed him the herbal medicine for one week to balance the internal system. The herbal medicine gradually and effectively healed my son's stomach problem. Now my son is back to normal healthy condition. I highly recommend Dr. Hu.??

I have been to many Chinese medicine doctors and acupuncturists and have found few that compare to Dr. Hu at the Dao Wellness Center. The office is conveniently located for San Gabriel Valley residents near Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena, but it??s worth the drive even if you live outside the immediate area. Dr. Hu??s assistant, Grace, is very courteous, professional and friendly. The office is very clean and modern, with state-of-the art equipment. Dr. Hu is highly trained with a Ph.D. in Chinese medicine. His story of having been cured of a childhood illness by Chinese medicine, when all else failed, which then spurred him on to become a doctor of Chinese medicine himself, is compelling evidence of the passion he brings to the task of helping heal others. The treatment modalities he offers are truly comprehensive, including not only acupuncture, but also electro-stimulation, heat therapy, cupping, Tui Na (a form of Chinese acupressure massage), medicinal patches, and Chinese herbs. Dr. Hu is obviously highly skilled and committed to the healing process. His warm and caring demeanor sets you at ease. I highly recommend Dao Wellness Center.

I suffered from depression and back pain. I went to see medical doctors and they couldn't do anything but prescribe drugs. My family and myself all worried about the side effects of the drugs, so we considered about natural medicine. My daughter-in-law recommended Dr. Hu to me. After 1 month of acupuncture and natural medicine treatment, I feel that I got wonderful results and am very pleased. I pray that God will richly bless Dr. Hu to heal more people who need help.??
