I brought my Scion tC to World Toyota to have warranty work done on my engine and was very upset with the service I received. Although World Toyota is not the closest Toyota dealership to my house I chose them because of the good reviews they had on Google and because it's where I purchased my car.

Everything went smoothly until it was time for me to pick up my car. The first time I was called and told that everything was ready to go I drove all the way down from Marietta to pick up my car and before I even left the parking lot I started having problems. I returned my car to the service department and informed my service advisor that the brakes were acting strange and the ABS light had come on. I asked him if they had taken it for a test drive and he assured me they did. He told me they would check it out and fix whatever was wrong. Before I left I made sure to write down the mileage for reference.

The next day I received a call from my service advisor stating that the problem had been fixed and I could return once again from Marietta to pick up my car. I asked the advisor what had happened and he told me they must have forgotten a pin when reattaching the axle causing the antilock brakes to malfunction. This frightened me. I also asked the advisor if the car had been test driven this time and he, once again, assured me it had. I checked the mileage and it was exactly the same as when I had dropped it off. I brought this to his attention and he was speechless. I told him that I did not feel comfortable taking the car home and he promised me that everything would be fine and told me that I have a 1 year warranty so there are no worries. I decided to take my car home in hopes that everything would be ok.

When I arrived at home I took another look at the engine and noticed a random part was just sitting in the engine compartment. I then contacted the manager and explained the situation and the problems I have had. He told me to bring the car back down to the shop and they would have the master tech look at it and see where the part needed to go and also check the entire engine over to make sure that nothing was wrong. After the Memorial Day weekend my service advisor called me and told me everything was ready to go. I came to pick it up and met with the manager, Daniel, who went through everything with me. I accepted the car and took it home.

My experience with World Toyota service department was very frustrating. I do not feel like that is the type of service you should expect when going to a Toyota dealership. Due to all of the problems I was having I had to cancel my vacation to Florida for Memorial Day. Also, one out of the three rental cars I was given had no air conditioning. I will never have my car serviced here again and do not recommend it to anyone else.

The Toyota Corporation will no doubt be happy to know World Toyota in Atlanta succeeded turning me away from all things Toyota. I purchased a Tacoma in 2007. They messed up the financing because they wrote the sale as a Tundra. Then they had the nerve to accuse me of trying to "pull something over" on them. But, I let it go and got my Tacoma. This summer (2010), after using it regularly for three years, they tell me the service contract I had purchased had been canceled. They could not tell me why and they were not interested in fixing the issue. Instead, they offered to sell me another service contract. So, on top of everything else, they call me an idiot! If I had had some lube handy, I would have offered to shove the truck...well, somewhere. Less than a month later, I traded the Toyota in for a new Honda.

They have free Wifi, refreshments and TV. They usually wash my truck if I have any major service.

Surprising that a service center is involved in many charity programs. Even got a oil change for a toy that was donated to a child during Christmas!
I get my 2007 RAV4 serviced from them for the past 3 years now. Never felt I was over charged.

Jerry was outstanding, very kind, I work in customer service therefore I am always aware of how I'm being treated when I'm the customer, however Jerry was excellent, he treated me just the way I would have treated my customer, Jerry made me feel as if I was the only customer in the service dept. while he attended to me. Called and spoke with John T. He totally understand my need for my a.c in this hot summer weather and FAST. He called around a few places and got my a.c going for HALF the average price that everyone else was quoting! He told me my car would be ready the next day at lunch... it was ready before!

The entire staff were friendly and welcoming, the waiting room was nicely equiped and comfortable and one of the things I observed that I had never seen done is while I was waiting, the cashier came out from behind the desk and came to the waiting room and asked anyone if they needed anything or if they needed an update on the status of their car. I must say that my experience with World Toyota was incredible. Everyone was so friendly and willing to help. I came in one night after work just before closing and looked around the lot. I was warmly greeted by Roy within a few minutes. What I liked about Roy was that he was a genuinely nice person and extremely knowledgeable. He was a real pleasure to work with. After I looked around the lot for a little while, Roy invited me back to the new owner's dinner the following Thursday. The dinner was nice, I test drove 2 cars, a 2011 Camry SE and the last 2010 Camry LE (fully loaded) on the lot. The SE was great but the deal I was offered on the 2010 LE was too good to pass up. I came back on the following Monday to hammer out the final details with Roy. World Toyota worked with me on my trade-in and got me more money. I also got 0% financing for 60 months and free maintenance for 3 years! I had a very memorable experience and will definitely come back to World Toyota for my next car. Thank you

I came in Saturday with a tire losing air, and the service guys were right there before I even got out of the car. They diagnosed the problem right away and gave me my options and pricing. I needed a new tire, but they didn't try to sell me an entire set or even 2 tires. They were competent, knowledgeable, very courteous, and I was out of there within 1 hour at a reasonable cost. Whether my car is in for routine maintenance or for repairs (which are extremely rare), the personnel at World Toyota's service department handle every instance very professionally. They are truly dedicated to doing it right and and satisfying the customer. It is the most trustworthy Toyota service department I have found in my 25 years of owning Toyotas.

My wife and I, both with rare diseases and both senior citizens, took our van over to WT recently. It was a wet, windy day. Our service rep was Marcia Vergeline, a young lady from Haiti. Within an hour, Marcia consulted us and said the complete air cond and complete GPS system had to be replaced, but our extended warranty would cover the costs. She did NOT have to accompany us to Hertz, she did NOT have to wait on us at the Hertz counter, she did NOT have to place an umbrella over my wife's head to keep her from getting wet, etc. When I was notified the car was ready, again Marcia did NOT have to accompany me to Hertz, she did NOT have start up my car parked a half block away so the windows would be clear, and she did NOT have to help me load my personal belongings from the rental car to my van. BUT SHE DID JUST THAT!! I routinely travel 50 states and 5 territories on my job, and I recognize good service which is becoming increasingly rare these days. Kudos to Marcia!! I
e-mailed the CEO of Toyota and related the same. Marcia needs to be recognized, and recognized big time. Thanks Chris, thanks Marcia, thanks to the entire staff. Marcia will always remain the epitome of quality service. We appreciate that!!!!! You can bet, my next vehicle will be a Toyota and it will be from World Toyota.

I recently had to have my van towed from my private mechanic to a Toyota Dealer to diagnose a problem and have it repaired. I researched the reviews on line on all the Toyota dealers close to my home but was disappointed to read so many bad reviews on all of them. But I read great reviews on World Toyota and about Ashley, the service manager, in particular. Based on that I had my van towed an extra 20 miles to World Toyota. I'm sure glad I did. I specifically asked for Ashley and she was great to work with. She was very professional, polite, and provided great customer service. On occasions when I had to leave a message she called me back promptly and she always kept me updated on the status of the repair. The service department was able to diagnose the problem and repair it when they said they would and my van runs fine. They also checked a number of other items at no cost and it was determined that the new spark plugs my mechanic put in were not the right type. So I plan to have that corrected. When I learned that another Toyota dealer was having a special on the same repair I was having at a lower cost Ashley was able to match the price saving me a significant amount of money. She also gave me a loaner car at no charge while my car was in the shop for several days. Needless to say, I will only use this dealer to fix my car in the future. I give them five stars.

I took my Avalon in to have the accelerator pedal repaired for the recall. It was due for an oil change anyway, and I had a leak in my washer fluid reservoir, so now was the time. When I pulled my car into the garage, I was greeted promptly by a friendly service tech who listened to me describe what I needed done. When I mentioned the washer fluid leak, he immediately knew of an issue on these Avalons where the hose comes loose.

The waiting area is very nice, with free popcorn, coffee, and water. There are paid vending machines and flavored coffee makers as well. Leather couches, a big flat screen TV, and free wi-fi complete the picture.

When the car was done, they informed me that there was another recall I was unaware of with the oil hose, so they went ahead and fixed that. The washer fluid leak was caused by a loose hose as the tech predicted, so they reattached it for no charge. All I ended up paying was $56 for the 5k mi service (oil change & tire rotation). This is a little on the high side when compared to independent shops, but to me it feels worth it. Plus they washed my car too, which was BADLY needed! ;-)

After I left, I noticed attached to the paperwork were two coupons for free 5k mi service (one for each recall). That means I won't really have to pay for any maintenance for like 15,000 miles!

Overall this is a great shop that does quality work for a reasonable price (albeit not the lowest in town). The excellent facilities and customer service make it well worth it -- highly recommended!
