I lived in the neighborhood for 32 years and I dont recommend any one to move to this area. On one side of the street you have the Latin Kings and on the other side the IG's. In the summer time you can hear gun shots every night. Kids can't play out side safely. The schools are terrible. There is no parking around. Grant it you at least get one parking space, but if you have more then one car forget about it and for visitors the best thing to do is for visitors to grab a cab or take the cta. Neighbors dont have consideration toward others because they play their home and car stereos so loud your apt shakes. In the summer of 2007 a 13yr old girl ( straight A student ) lost her life due to drive bys. (Shana Gayden) I wish to be more specific but if I type certain words in this review it will not post.

Pros: Stores, transportation and restaurants.
Cons: Illegal substances available in every corner and ladies selling their bodies.
