I had a very positive experience with this firm. Had moisture problems under my house brought to my attention by Killo.Exterminators. The saleman gave us several options to deal with the problem. His presentation was professional without any pressure. The work was done promptly and the system was carefully explained to us. We had one problem after installation and the service call to fix it was prompt. Since the installation we have had no issues with moisture in our crawl space. The annual service calls were scheduled in a professional manner and the technicians were all on time and professional. Charles did our most recent service and it was on time and well done. I would highly recommend this firm to anyone with any issues with moisture in a basement or crawl space.
From begining till end, fast, efficient, and professional. William, Chris, and Adam raised our house in one day. Our foundation was sinking and our bricks were cracking, Dry-Pro rose to the occasion. How amazing it was to watch the foundation lifted, and our house safely back in place. They came all the way to Salisbury, NC to the rescue. Thanks again. R and J Neubauer
Very impressed with Dry Pro! The salesman took time to explain things and even gave us books to read on the process. He did not try to oversell us on the services offered. The people who came out to our house all work for Dry Pro and they were so professional and nice. Hope to never need them again but would defintely reccomend them to anyone needing this type of service,
6/14/12 I am resending my earlier praise as i was hasty in reveiwing this company and did so before they finished the job. The job in which they cracked our toiliet and cost us an additional $600 to replace and now we are on day 4 of no AC because the people who unhooked it for Dry pro said it was so trampled when they came back to hook it up that they could not. i am not a happy consumer at this point - I will see how this is handled and hopefully there will be a happy ending.
From my very first contact with DryPro through the completion of the project, everyone I dealt with was professional, even when we had a slight problem.
In January 2012, I made initial contact with DryPro concerning a crack in our foundation. A System Design Specialist inspected the foundation outside and underneath the house and recommended masonry work, stating that the issue appeared to be more of a cosmetic nature and not a structural one. He also stated that we could have our brick front steps repaired at the same time. We appreciated that he did not try to sell us something we did not need and he left saying that if we needed a brick mason, he could recommend one. He also left material about what could be done to our crawl space and told me what that would do to the comfort inside our home. We read all of the material and liked what we learned about the DryPro System. I contacted DryPro to engage a brick mason and asked for a quote to encapsulate our crawl space.
We accepted the proposal and our job was scheduled for Monday, April 30 and Tuesday, May 1. Coincidently, we had to replace our HVAC system 10 days prior and when I called to ask for a piece of the floor liner to be delivered so that the new air handler could be placed on the liner, it delivered the same day.
Monday, April 30:
The brick mason arrived on time and did an outstanding job repairing the crack in our foundation and the front steps. He affirmed what we had been told, that the foundation appeared structurally sound and that this cosmetic solution to the cracking should solve the problem. He also mentioned that it was a good thing that we had the stairs repaired, because water could begin to get underneath and cause damage.
The electrician arrived shortly after the brick mason and once he explained that he was going to install a GFI, he went right to work and then took the time to show me how to reset it if we began to feel a rise in humidity in the house.
About 3:00 PM on Monday I received a phone call from the DryPro office to apologize for a scheduling error that was just discovered. The crew who was supposed to begin work in the crawl space had been sent elsewhere that morning and they would not be starting our job until Tuesday, finishing up on Wednesday. My only concern was that I would not be home on Wednesday when they finished the job, but that did not seem to be a concern to DryPro.
Tuesday, May 1:
A three-man crew arrived on Tuesday, morning, May 1. They explained what they were going to be doing and worked diligently until late afternoon. They let me know when they were going to leave and that they would be back the next day (Wednesday) to finish up the job.
Wednesday, May 2:
It is my understanding that on Wednesday, May 2, the crew returned with an additional member to complete the job. Arriving home after they were finished, we could notice a difference in the atmosphere inside our home the moment we stepped inside. A look under the house showed a bright and clean area where a dark, dirty and dusty area had been.
All was well until Thursday night, May 3. We noticed the humidity seemed higher. Friday, May 4, the house warmed up throughout the day. By early evening it appeared that our new air conditioning system wasn't working. I called our HVAC company and the technician came right out. He checked out the whole system and found that during the DryPro installation a short cut had been taken and they had tapped into our HVAC condensate line instead of installing a dedicated one for the dehumidifier they installed. This had caused a back-up to our air handler, tripped a breaker, and shut off our heat pump. Our HVAC tech turned off the dehumidifier to insure that we would have cool air over the weekend. I then contacted DryPro (around 8:30 PM on Friday night). They said they would have someone out on Monday, unless I felt it was an emergency. Since we no longer had an HVAC issue, I said Monday would be fine. On Monday afternoon, May 7, a DryPro tech arrived and in less than an hour he had corrected the problem, cleaned up underneath the house (there had been some moisture pooling on the liner as a result of the condensate line issue and dirt had been drag in during the weekend) and everything was good as new.
Today is Friday, May 11, and all is still working well. Both the temperature and the humidity in the house are extremely comfortable and we were pleased with DryPro's response to the problem. I would not hesitate to recommend them to a friend.
I had a basement that flooded several times. I had a big drain put in and thought that fixed it. It flooded again and then Dry Pro came out and put in french drains. My worries were over. I had a battery to died and they replaced at a discount rate. I am very satisfied with Dry Pro and would recomment to others.
I had a very bad basement leak that required dry vaccuming and mopping every 30 minutes.
I got several opinions from contractors about the problem, until I called Dry Pro Systems. Mr Keeter came out and took the time needed with me and recommended several outside landscaping options. He also gave me literature that made sense about how to deal with my problem.
I was surprised to learn that my basement problem could be resolved in about half a day( rain for the next 2 days was in the forecast). I signed the contract without being pressured.
The work was completed professionally and my once leaky basemen is DRY!!! Thanks fellows!
When we learned that we needed a sealed crawlspace repair to sell our home DryPro was professional and kind! Other companies put on the pressure and made the experience so stressful. DryPro came to our home with honest and assuring help in solving our moisture problem without the hype and drama that so often surrounds such repairs. DryPro met the competitive price and completed the job not only on time but in one day rather than two! The office staff was also efficient and competent with calls to keep us updated on all aspects of the job. Thanks DryPro
