I've been going to Sanna for a little over a year now. She has become an integral part of my health maintenance and improvement plan. I first met her when she came to my workplace once a week as part of a Dreamclinic Massage session offered at the employee service center. When I first saw her I had severe cramping in my upper back that had lasted for weeks. Cortisone shots and pain medication from my primary care physician offered only temporary relief. He provided these options: physical therapy, acupuncture, massage, or a combination. I decided to try massage, but was a bit reluctant at first because I didn't know what to expect. Lucky for me Sanna was working the session I happened to sign-up for. At that first chair massage session she was able to locate and resolve my cramping. And with subsequent visits at her own facility for longer-duration table massage sessions, she helped me recover from the associated nerve damage and helped me to restore my range of motion. That set me on a path of recovery that has allowed me to shed 20 lb, improve my physical conditioning, and participate in 5 to 10K fun runs each month since I started to see her. Sanna is professional, respectful, incredibly intuitive, and exceedingly skilled at what she does. Its like her hands can see by touch. She is so skilled, so precise, that muscle tension, joint pain, and stress just melt away every time. I continue to walk away wondering if it could get any better, and I wonder how she does it. I think she has a gift (or maybe *is* a gift, to anyone that sees her!). I could not recommend her more highly. If you ever thought about massage but were not sure about it, or have tried it but didn't find it very helpful, then I highly encourage you to schedule a session with Sanna. She has a great new location in Ballard, and has very convenient on-line scheduling from her web site: http://www.sanachimassage.com/
