I tried this place a month ago & I really wanted to like it. Unfortunately it just wasn't that good & i left feeling dissatisfied, hungry & bummed that it cost so much.
The restaurant was empty (probably should have taken that as a sign) so we sat at the bar and watched some NBA game that was on, thus the only pro ("good tvs"). Started with a shrimp app (think it was called "BBQ shrimp") which was nasty & ruined the rest of the meal. I usually love shrimp but this dish was served with the shrimps in their full shells, heads ON, tails ON when none of that was in the menu description. I guess we should have asked...next time, although there won't be a next time at this place. I felt like I was performing surgery--de-cappitating the head, de-veing the body & pulling off the tails. Not too mention I felt like I smelled like shrimp for the rest of the night. Booo. The other disappointing dish was the tomato salad. Menu descibed it as "Organic Tomato Salad organic tomato, mizuna onion, roasted peanuts, citrus honey dressing"....not even close. The dish looked like it was served from a bad deli. Bland tomatoes, topped w/ bland white onions and some dressing that had no flavor. Got some sushi that was ok (82 & ultimate spicy tuna ) but not very memorable. Maybe we should have just stuck to sushi, but even then I rather go to Zushi Puzzle, Ace Wasabi, Umami or Naked Fish if I want sushi in the marina.
Pros: good tvs at bar
Cons: food, over-priced
