Good food but the service isn't all that great. They only have 2 high chairs in the whole place, I had to hold my son the whole time. I asked for apple juice and she said oh I am sorry we don't have apple juice. My husband ordered a salad

My husband and I visited this place last night with our 5 month old baby in tow. Normally I would not take my infant son to a sports bar & restaurant, but we got a coupon card/flier in the mail that advertised "Families Welcome". This place does NOT welcome families at all. When we arrived, the hostess was no where to be found. We waited several minutes before she showed up to seat us. She then informed us that the restaurant only has one high chair and it was being used.
Fine.
We asked for a booth so we could slide the car seat into the booth. Unfortunately, the booths are so narrow and the table so large that even a super skinny person would have a hard time feeling comfortable there.
We ordered our food - 3 Cheese Mac-n-Cheese appetizer, my husband ordered the burger with onion rings on it and I ordered the bleu cheese burger. The Mac-n-Cheese was so bland that you couldn't even tell whether it had any cheese in it at all. The sauce was really pasty and not at all creamy. The best thing I can say about it was that it was hot. The burgers weren't very good either. My husband said his was just ok, but mine was dry and rubbery, and pink the center!

After we finished eating, I took my son to the restroom to change him, but there was no changing station in the ladies restroom, so I had to lay him on the vanity in between the sinks to change his diaper. Again, I know this is a sports bar, but don't advertise that you are family friendly when you clearly are not!
The last thing I want to say about this place was that it was stifling inside. Surely code requires some sort of air conditioning or fan system in new buildings, but it was super hot inside the restaurant. That, coupled with the cramped booth and blas food, makes me sure that I will not return to this place.

Pros: Lots of beer on tap

Cons: Food was terrible

First time I went the service was great and the panfried oysters were excellent! The second time I went, bad server, but the manager was on top of things and saw how long it took for us to get our food and gave us a discount for bad service. The burger I had (spicy turkey burger) was just so-so, I should have ordered the oysters again. So your experience will depend on the server you get and what you order. The place itself is really cool and well designed!

We went to Mukilteo Lodge last Friday and would never go back again.

We were there for dinner. However, the table was so dark that the hostess brought over 2 extra oil lamps just so we can read the menu. The seats were extremely uncomfortable too - huge over-sized table but extremely limited seats between the table and the back of the booth.

Out of the 2 appetizers and 3 entrees we ordered - 1 entree and 1 appetizer were decent; the rest was unimpressive, with the buffalo wings super dried and chewy.

As for service - our waiter never checked back on us nor came back with refills for our soft drinks. We flagged down another waitress, who didn't help us and instead sent over a bus boy about 3 minutes later.

Summary? We are not going back. Ever.

Have been back several times. I think it has been an improvement every time.

Drinks are really good, food has been really good, and the staff super friendly.

What we have really noticed and think people need to be aware of is the parking situation. Luckily we live in a house nearby and can walk because .....

While they do have a large parking area, it isn't big enough. Patrons are parking at the post office (which is fine), and also at Amici Bistro's parking lot - which is NOT fine.Amici is having your cars towed if you park in their parking lot. I can't blame them.

We saw a car get towed just last night. So please be aware of this.

If there's no room at the Lodge - park at the post office or the water place.

Otherwise you'll end your fun night on a sour note....

I was so excited to hear about this place opening, and have been very disappointed. The Happy Hour is great in terms of prices, but the food is sub-par. I have eaten there and so have many friends and the consensus is always the same - bad food. We really need a great place like this in Mukilteo so I am hoping that The Lodge steps up and improves the food. Otherwise, they won't last

We had heard about the new place in Mukilteo and wanted to check it out. We felt the food quality was poor. There was a pretzel /sausage on the appetizer menu that we ordered. We were served a pretzel only and looked more closely at the menu which indicated you could add a sausage for another $7.95. For the main course, we ordered salmon and were served a tail section that was thin, dry and tough. We could only eat a small bite of it. It appeared that food coloring had been added to the fish to make it appear redder than normal. The chicken burger we ordered was also dry. We do not intend to return. There are bars nearby that serve better food with better prices.

My very close friends joined me at the lodge just last Friday (4/16) to give me a very special send off from my wonderful job, apartment, city, neighbors and co-workers, and so much more. The owners of the lodge, their manager, bar tenders, hostesses, servers and cooks were so typically friendly, professional and out right wonderful to us and to me in particular. Being a nearby resident of Mukilteo, I've had the great pleasure to visit the Lodge numerous times since it opened and I keep coming back with more and more friends who tell me they too will keep coming back. I just cannot praise all the staff enough, especially those who were so terrifically accomodating for my farewell send off. We had the corner section of the bar for quite a few hours. And other patrons were unbelievable friendly and congratulatory to me and the rest of us. What fun we had. I highly recommend the lodge to anyone. Service is beyond expections, food is great, and the place is just the best. This kind of sports bar has been needed in Mukilteo for a long time. Thank you Shawn and Beth, and thanks for hiring such a great staff! Marshall

I think it is fairly hard to write a review based on a less than a week of being open, but I wanted to put my two cents in on Mukilteo Lodge Sports Grille... I think they did an AMAZING job on the decor. It truly feels like you are in a lodge in the mountains somewhere. The wood work is absolutely beautiful! The massive stacked stone fireplace really is a nice, warm touch. The service was great, the food was good (with a wide variety of items to choose from). Fun kids menu that kept my kids entertained.. The giant plasma t.v.'s all around make it an excited place to catch a game, and have a pint or two (not ten). I am glad Mukilteo has a fun late night option as well. I think if they get a few things ironed out, which most places that are brand new need to do before being successful, I believe M.L.S.G. will be a north end tradition for years to come. Can't wait to go back! In fact I'm going there again today for lunch. This will be my 3rd time! :)

We attended opening night and had a wonderful time! The staff was great as well as the food (salmon and Oregon burger). The decor is very warm and lodge-like, very welcoming! Looking forward to returning!

It is a beautiful set up with great potential. When we checked out the place it was full of young adults - early 20s - with a few 30 somethings in the mix. Not a biggie - but a potential to turn off some.

Opening night had to many people that were obviously over-served drinks. Hopefully they will work out that kink.

We had the lava cake which was awesome, and drinks. They were out of the mixers for the drink on their menu that we actually wanted - but that's understandable on an opening weekend with no way to restock.

The only suggestion/complaint I would make is that if you are coming to the bar with more than a couple people - unless you sit right at the actual bar, the tables in the bar area only seat two people. So we noticed people having to stand in the walkway to hang with their groups. It would have been nice to have a couple of larger tables in the actual bar.

I like that it is open late. But it would also be nice if the restaurant side was open later than 10pm for this teens/families wanting to hit desert or late dinner after a movie.

First of all, the place is gorgeous! We really like the use of woods and stone, plus the Pac Ten theme. Our waitperson was friendly and attentive. The bar was full (we stopped by for happy hour), so we ended up sitting in the lounge, a comfy room with a fireplace and huge, cushy leather chairs. We ordered drinks and food (had a half wooden barrel as a table) and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We definitely plan on going back!! Bonus - they are open much later than any other restaurant in the area, so if we feel like making it a late night, we can!
