I was quoted ONE THOUSAND dollars less than what I ended up paying for my extension to be done here. I have had them done many times in L.A. by legitimate "celebrity stylists" who are humble and do a stellar job. Natalie from Warren Tricomi was the worst experience I have ever had in a salon. Not only did she do a horrible job on matching the extensions to my cut, but she spent a significant period of our time together raving about her life in France. She bold-face lied to me about many things and it made me extremely uncomfortable. This went on for over an hour. I even asked comical questions and she played along - it was impressively odd. I am American but my father was a diplomat so I was raised in various parts of France. It became almost embarrassing to listen to at one point. I made a comment to her assistant who told me she "always lies about those things." As a successful business woman I would tell her advisedly that her behavior will only be to her demise. My hair needed to be fixed the next day, which I had done at Fekkai. Fabulous job at Fekkai.
A few hours after departing the salon I realized my 8,700 dollar bag had a stain on it, like the previous reviewer had happen. When my assistant called regarding this the front desk manager told him there was no proof that the stain originated from the salon and that I should have called "myself." What a disappointment. A proper boss would sit Natalie down and explain to her why she is a problem and maybe set her up for success by setting guidelines. Her assistant told me many people complain. I spent almost 11 thousand dollars when I should have spent less than 7. On my hair. That's just embarrassing. I am sure there is talent in this salon. It is hidden underneath biased attitudes. A small amount of humility goes a long way. I considered suing the salon over the bag. I'd rather forget the experience.

I went to the salon Warren Tricomi at the Plaza as first time guest, as I wanted to try the services across from my office. I normally go to Fekkai and I am familiar with nice salons.

I was told when I originally went in my highlights would cost $250 by the front desk associate, plus as a local business they extended 20% off as a potential new corporate account.

After the color, I found out from the assistant that blow-dry was not included. That she could arrange one for me at 80 dollars extra or I could do it on my own. Then she mentioned the colorists were not great at blow drying, well why would I do it then? I opted to air dry / quickly dry my hair in the salon as I wanted to work out later.

The entire session I had to hold my handbag as there were no tables in the salon. Very luxurious. I also managed to get serum on my bag that the associate gave me from the leaking bottle, lucky it left a small stain. At the time, the front office manager said they would take care of it.

Then I go to pay my bill and it was $375, way above what the front desk associate quoted on Wednesday at $250.

I spoke a few times to the Front Desk Manager and she put me in touch directly with the owner. Edward was rude; with zero intention to extend a refund of the difference quoted. He was fully obnoxious on the phone. They also told me they would no longer take care of the stain on my bag. I had three friends lined up to go in, I made sure to let them know how I was treated. Definitely go to John Frieda or Fekkai, this place is over priced and the owner Edward is an ungracious host.

I just got my color done for the second time at WT, and it was again, an amazing experience. I would completley recommend Danielle if you are looking for a colortist. I was a brunette and wanted to go blonde. I wanted it to look natural, and Daniele definitely knew how to do that. I have gotten numerous compliments on my hair both the first time I went in, and now after the second set of highlights. Danielle listens to what you want, but at the same time, has many years of experience and can offer you good advice on what might look the best. The atmospohere at the salon as well is beautiful. You are treated well by reception, the colorists and thier assistants.

My friend recommended I try her colorist Liana. I was apprehensive to go to someone new but I haven't been so happy with the place I'd been going to, so I figured I'd give it a try. First off the service at the salon is top notch, I was greeted immediately offered coffee/water.

Liana made me fell comfortable as soon as I sat down. She spent time asking me quesions about my hair, daily routine, what I was looking for, etc. My hair looks amazing, the highlights look so natural, blended in (my highlights before looked like stripes!) I'm definitely going back!!!

My name is Tara Badway. I have been getting my hair done my Edward Tricomi for years now. Edward is a shear genius...excuse the pun. My hair cut has never lasted so long and retained bounce. Betty my colorist, is another master of her trade. Grown men approach me :" I love all the different highlights in your hair".Let's face it, that is a not a common thing. If I'm a tad late...a manicure or massage are options for me to pass time. Moreover, all this utopia in the Plaza Hotel is complimented by the personalties and helpfulness of the staff. Sitting in the chair awaiting my blow dry.. ( you never know who will be next to you);-0 A make up artist suggested a pointer for an application of concealer. Worked like a magic...Thank you Vanessa! I have had my hair done all over .......I refuse to go anywhere else. I have never looked so fabulous. Really. It is well worth it. Finally , Edward is hysterical....and had many true life stories that will keep you thinking well past your appointment. Don't call run there for your next appointment...you will leave amazed on how smashing you can look.

Nathalie is an absolutely gifted stylist who knows how to make everyone look their best. Each time I walk out of the salon I feel like a star, and as if I've been touched by an angel.

My name is Zachary Morad and I am currently Nathalie?s assistant at Warren Tricomi. On a daily basis I am able to continuously learn and grow from and with Nathalie. Having been trained in Europe Nathalie has an eclectic way of cutting hair that her clients adore her for. I personally greet each one of her clients and those of whom I am not yet familiar with constantly rave about her cutting and styling abilities usually referring to her as a genius and saying she never delivers less than perfection. Nathalie is constantly making sure that her clients have the best service possible by going above and beyond and cares even more for them than they do her. Not only is she one the most talented and inspiring stylists that I?ve ever had the honor to work with but she is also a vivacious woman who never bring about a dull moment. I am constantly reminded by her clients, most of whom come on a weekly basis that I am extremely lucky to be working with such talented woman and I couldn?t agree with them more!

I have been seeing Gia for my color for serveral years. She is amazing! She totally understands what works based on complexion and maintenance and it grows out beautifully. She is truly an artist and is a rare find!

Gia put me in touch with Craig to do my haircuts. I have been seeing him for almost a year. He is fantastic, thorough and patient. I am in the process of growing my hair long and he always creates the perfect layers and shape to allow me to grow it out without it looking straggly.

Gia and Craig are an amazing team! I have lived in the city for almost 15 years and have tried a million places and stylists. I am so happy to have found my home. They are an amazing team and they always make me feel special and look beautiful!

I have been a client of the Warren-Tricomi Salon for many years now. I have been impressed by Edward Tricomi and Joel Warren and their outstanding team of stylists, colorists, makeup artists, and nail technicians. Edward, along with being a brilliant stylist, is also a kind and caring person with a fine sense of humor. Another stylist whose work I know is Takashi. He has been my personal stylist for several years, and his work is excellent. He is a perfectionist and a kind person.

Some of the excellent nail technicians include Didi, Eva, and Beatrice. The women who greet me at the desk are always friendly and welcoming, including Alexandra, Angela, Catherine, and Kim.

The entire staff represents the best of what New York beauty has to offer.

For years I have gone to a number of salons looking for a dark chocolate brown hair color. Everyone that I have seen has not grasped the concept of chocolate brown. I was referred to Danielle a color specialist and she is the only one who has ever got the color I want correct. Usually I leave salons unhappy and in tears due to the incorrect color that is usually too dark- almost goth like, but Danielle actually listened to what I wanted and produced the best color. I left the salon very very pleased and will not let anyone else touch my hair color. The Warren Tricomi salon is by far the best salon hands down.

Many years ago, in my hunt to find the very best talent in NYC for eyebrow shaping, I landed at Eliza's Eyes at the Avon Salon. After being a client to many of the different staff trained by Eliza, I was having trouble finding consistency. Until I was fortunate enough to cross paths with Varvara. Countless years later, I have been a loyal follower and passionate fan of Varvara's due to her sheer mastery in the art of eyebrow shaping. She has never wavered in her consistency and there has never been a time where I wasn't 100% satisfied with my results. She is a brilliant artist at her craft, overly accommodating, and has a delightful and warm disposition. So long as she continues to do what she does in the impeccable way that she does it, I will continue to be a faithful client of hers. She is, unequivocally THE BEST.

When I first moved to the city five years ago the perfectionist in me went on a hunt for the best in everything, hair, eyebrows, clothes, you name it. Through my extensive research I found Eliza's Eyes in the Avon salon at the Trump Tower. I had heard Eliza was eyebrow stylist to the stars and that she personally apprenticed all of her employees with her shaping secrets. The first time I went there I saw Varvara and she waxed my eyebrows so beautifully that I didn't need to come back for weeks on end.The years have gone by, and Eliza's Eyes has closed, but I have followed Varvara happily to and fro in the city. She is now at Warren Tricomi at the Plaza and after I see her people will actually stare at my eyebrows and ask how I can possibly get them so flawless? My answer is always my secret gem: Varvara!

I have a long history with Varvara starting when she worked at AVON Eliza's Eyes. She is extraordinarily skilled at eyebrow shaping and without exception has always left me pleased with the results. Not only does she take her time to create the most complimentary shape, she is also accommodating with her schedule and is an appealing and warm person. She inspires client loyalty.

Ive been getting my haircut and color at Warren-Tricomi for many, many years. Their new location at The Plaza Hotel is truly a luxurious haven hidden inside the most historical landmark hotel in ny! The customer service has always been impecable and when I go, which is often :) I feel like I am part of a family, they know about my life and my kids and I know about theirs. Allison colors my hair and what she does with color is magic. My haircut is always no less than amazing everytime I go and I see Edward Tricomi, the hair legend himself. To sum it all up, I think the Warren-Tricomi salon is by far the best salon in the city!
