I cannot recommend this preschool program enough. I was immediately put at ease about leaving my child here the minute I stepped in the door to take the first tour. The director, Pam, is truly one of a kind and genuinely cares 100% about each and every child. This attitude is carried on with the staff. Each teacher WANTS to be there and interacts with each child at their own level. The excitement spills over to the kids and the learning they are able to do is incredible. My son was in the three year old class before we had to make an out of state move. He adored his teachers and so did I. They are incredibly gifted at what they do and what's more they truly enjoy it. I saw so much growth in my son directly because of their loving and patient direction. I will always be thankful for what Connections Preschool meant to my family while we lived in Raleigh. If I could we would have packed them up and brought them with us!

Connections Preschool is an amazing Preschool. Due to moves, our family has been a part of three different Preschool Programs and by far Connections has been the most loving and nurturing program we have ever experienced. Several key elements stand out to me: the staff, approach to curriculum, and size.

As a ministry of Forest Hills, the staff and teachers have personal investment in the ministry. Therefore, the atmosphere is warm and loving. The teachers have a special connection with the children. This has been the first preschool we have experienced where each child is accepted for who they are and where they are. Our son is your typical boy. High energy, short attention span, you know the type and he has been accepted and encouraged to be who he is! The school has complete boasting rights to an excellent teaching staff. All of the lead teachers are mothers and bring that love and wisdom to their classroom. It is definitely a different feel than other preschools. These teachers WANT to be there.

The director, Pam Stephenson, is an amazing woman as well. Her natural ease with children and parents made the preschool transition easy and smooth. Through our relationship with her over the last two years, she is a true lover of children. Allison Larimore, the childrens' minister of Forest Hills Baptist is also an amazing asset to the program. These are two ladies you must meet!!

The second exceptional element of Connections is their approach to curriculum. The offer a play-based curriculum. The philosophy of Connections details that children are offered learning through age appropriate play, and this is true! Our experience has been our son is learning through *age appropriate* play. In my experience as a parent, it is rare to see a preschool truly exhibit and fulfill their philosophy. Connections is definitely an exception. I believe it is because their staff is personally invested in their students, desiring to see each and every child flourish in their program.

Finally, the size of Connections Preschool is a major advantage. Connections is a new program; therefore, it is still a smaller program. It still provides amenities of larger programs (music time, well trained staff, etc) but you child does not get lost in the hustle and bustle. Every teacher knows every child. This allows children to feel cared for and special. The size also allow for parents to get to know one another and encourage a close parent community.

Connections Preschool is an impressive program. I highly recommend contacting the program for a tour and you will see and feel for yourself the quality program Connections is building!
