Great results. I couldn't be happier with the progress than my 4 year old has made. He was tentative at first but the instructor was patient with him and now he loves her. He looks forward to his class every week. He has taken several classes and has moved up to higher levels already. I also love the way they teach him safety around the water.

I'm an adult who is terrified of the water; or at least I used to be. I tried so many different programs and frankly, they all failed. I heard about Set & Swim from a friend of mine almost 2 years ago and last year I decided to give it a try. WOW! They did not push me like the others did. They helped be get comfortable in the water and were so patient. You may think it was just the effort of one of the instructors (Therese) however I have also taken classes with another instructor and had the same results. I am now proudly able to call myself an Adult Intermediate thanks to a terrific company. By the way, if you get a chance, check them out when they teach the babies. That is so adorable!

We had a horrible experience with Saturday morning classes. After talking to other parents who were sitting and watching their children's classes, I found out other parents experienced the same thing. One father was going to the Y for swim lessons instead. The actual owner of the program, Terese, was late for almost every session. She would call ahead of time and have the lifeguard warm the children up. Yes, that is what I was paying $150 for. We had been happy with the program in the past so I decided to try one more session thinking it would get better. What a mistake. It actually got worse. The program has gone down hill since we started three years ago. I guess Terese knew she could not get there in time and "hired" another teacher who also was always late. One time, no one even showed up. Then with one week left, Terese calls my home and says an instructor is not available and my child would have to come to a makeup class. None of the makeup times fit with our schedule that week. Since there was only one week left, we were basically screwed. So, after three years of taking classes, the owner says "Too bad. I'll give you a credit for another session." I tell her I won't pay $150 for another session when all I need is one more class. Again the response "Too bad". So after instructors that are constantly late or not showing up, the owner won't even honor one class. The kicker was one class where a very young instructor was talking to one of the life guards. The instructor was going on about a story of where she was fired from her last job. I am sitting right next to their conversation thinking "You are about to teach my six year old son and I have to listen to you brag about how you were fired from one job and then just walked off another?" Totally unprofessional (including the owner). I am signing my kids up for swim lessons at the Y. At least I know the teacher will show up.

My daughter started with Set and Swim when she was 6 months old. She is now turning 4 and ever place we go swimming we are asked where she learned to swim as they all call her the fish. We always get comments about her being a future Olympian. We can't praise the program and instructor, Terese for all they have done to make our daughter comfortable in the water and swim as well as she does.
