I recently just bought my 2010 Honda accord ex from Miller Honda through their costco program. My sales Rep (Alfredo Cos) from internet sales made my car buying such a pleasant experience. I never felt pressured to buy anything. He was very helpful and patient with me the entire time. Since my visit to Miller Honda I have recommended several people to buy a car here. I couldn't be happier with my 2010 Honda accord ex, thanks to my sales Rep Alfredo Cos.

Service Department is either inept or totally dishonest.

Wow, I should have listened to the bad reviews of Miller Honda's Service Department. If I could leave a zero score I would.

I took my Honda (still under warranty) there with an electrical problem where the power to my dashboard gauges and lights was cutting in and out. Other than that, the car started fine, ran fine, etc. I described the problem very clearly to the service people and they promised a diagnosis within a couple hours.

Three hours later I got an email from the service desk. At first I thought, "What great service" until I looked at the email. Instead of diagnosing my problem they were "suggesting" $700 worth of various upsells like new tires, brake jobs, new battery, etc.

I replied that I didn't want any of that but would they please diagnose the electrical problem and fix it under warranty.

Next, they emailed saying that before they could go any further I would have to buy a new $150 battery, despite the fact that my battery had been absolutely fine when I dropped the car off. I told them I wasn't going to buy a battery from them since mine was fine just a few hours ago.

Then, after I finally got them to actually take the car out for a test drive, they emailed me that the car wasn't stalling. I thought that was great news since it wasn't stalling when I dropped off the car, either.

Finally, I gave up and just went and got the car. They were adamant that my battery was dead and needed to be replaced. I asked them to jump start the car and drove it home. Battery is currently working just fine, though they never did diagnose my electrical problem.

I suppose I'll just have to take it to a real mechanic to get the problem figured out. What's the point of a warranty of the dealers are so inept or dishonest?

I love my Honda, I love Hondas in general. I will buy another Honda. But I will NEVER buy one from Miller Honda of Culver City nor will I ever take my car there again.

I have found that they are now charging to install a headlight and it will take over an hour to do the service. Also, this Honda charges for printing your service history. This Honda has also chooses not to wash the cars any longer. Overall, you will find this place more than will to charge you for everything and make you wait. Go somewhere else.

I recently stopped by the Miller Honda in Culver City because I needed to purchase a new car and because it was the closest dealership by my apartment. It was the FIRST Honda dealership I've ever gone to and by far the WORST. As I pulled into the lot, I was met by Danny, the assistant sales manager who was outside on a cigarette break. I promptly informed him that I was just looking for a car was not interested in purchasing tonight. He assured me that that was fine. He introduced me to Rudy, who was part of his team and had me test drive a 2010 Honda Civic Coupe which was fine because I wanted to get a feel for the car anyways. However, after the test drive, they proceeded to sit me down and hold me hostage for 2 hours in an attempt to try to get me to purchase the car that night! I told Danny that I was not comfortable making a decision tonight and he proceeded to lecture/pscyhoanalyze me as if that would get me to cave! I know in his head he thinks he's making a compelling speech but honestly, the man just rambles/preaches on and on about nonsense in an attempt to wear you down. Danny guaranteed that I would not be able to find a dealership that would offer me a price as "great" as theirs. I found FIVE other dealerships in the surrounding cities that offered me an even BETTER deal than his. In the end, I purchased my car for over $2,500 less than his offering price. STAY away from this dealership if you can. They are VULTURES, especially Danny. The man has the most aggressive, disrespectful sales tactic ever. Don't give them your sale, they honestly don't deserve it!!

Based on a recommendation from a friend, I decided to try out Miller Honda to service my 03 Accord. Since I??ve had some pretty bad experiences with the service dept at my local car dealership, I figured I??d give them a shot even though it??s a bit of a drive from Santa Monica. I made my appointment online which was really convenient. I got there and was told that it would take an hour or two because of the volume of customers. I was fine with waiting because they had a Trader Joes next door as well a quaint little park across the street. I hung out there for a little less than an hour and walked back to find my car ready for me. They finished early and even washed my car for me. My rims were squeaky clean! I??m not sure what other dealership do such a great job! My service rep was really helpful and made my experience a lot better than I had imagined. From my friends recommendation to me, and from my recommendation to you, I??d suggest for you to give Miller Honda a try. Thank you, Miller Honda!

I checked out the reviews on a few websites on Miller Honda before I went to check it out for myself. The reviews weren??t great but I figured I??d give them a shot since I work so close by. I??m not sure why the reviews were so poor because I had a really good experience. I went in for a test drive on the new Insight and really got along well with my sales rep. He went over all the options including colors, packaging, etc and an estimation what I should expect. Easy breezy! I headed back there a week later with my parents, since I was getting the car for them, and was given the same attitude by another sales person! He was very cordial and very respectful towards my parents. Since their English isn??t that great, he was able to go over all the details with them slowly and in a respectful manner. We were in and out of there rather quickly. This probably has to be the smoothest car buying experience I??ve ever had. But seriously, try them out yourself. You??ll really be surprised at how accommodating they can be!

Pros: friendly, respectful, no pressure

Cons: people give them a bad rep that they don't deserve

I have been taking my Accord to these guys ... they have become quite dishonest over the past 1.5 years ... I have ended up spending about 8 Grand on "Necessary Repairs" on my car when it was running perfectly fine earlier. They have come up saying they need to replace my brakes, automatic windows engine and each time another item seems to mysteriously go bad which they offer to fix the next time ... My car was working without a single issue for the first 30 K miles(from 60K to 90K) when i took it to them for servicing ... since then it has been a tailspin ... My driving is only local ... and each time i came out feeling a bit weird about the fact that at this dealership I kept having higher and higher bills ... the final issue came up when i recommended another friend to service his car(less than 20K miles) and they gave him a laundry list of items to be fixed .... He asked them to just do the servicing and not to anything else .. I heard good things about santa monica honda dealership ... I will take my car there now ... I kept seeing my service guy leave the department for other jobs ... never understood why..I feel bad these guys have dropped in ethics and quality ... I dont recommend these guys

Do not deal with this dealership nothing but shady sales people. I came into the dealership ready to buy a vehicle and I had done all my research on the car and the price I should be getting the vehicle for. I was in the process of buying a Honda Odyssey EX-L 2009 and I knew I could get one for $30,975.00 including tax and registration. So I come into this store ready to buy a car with all my homework done. I get this rude guy who I forgot his name but hes a big bald Mexican guy. I come in and the first thing he says is what are you willing to pay for a car? I told him what is your best offer can you provide that in a balance sheet with tax and finance. He told me no I will not do that because I don't want you shopping around for better pricing. At that point that threw up red flags that this dealership is shady. After that I told can I get a new sales guy and he told me no I am the one handling your account. After that point he told me listen I came in on my off day to sale cars I am not working for free. What kind of rude comment is that. Isn't this guy working for Honda and not for himself. Very rude and the whole atmosphere of Miller Honda Culver City is a joke. All vultures looking to take advantage of people who haven't done there research. I urge anyone buying a Honda to check out Downey Honda and ask for Carlos. This guy was very nice and helpful. No haggle straight to the point this is the best price and urged me to search around for pricing. Carlos made the whole Honda purchasing a pleasure and I commend him on his level of service. This guy at Miller Honda in Culver City was one the worst sales car people I have ever dealt with in my life time. Stay away from these vultures!!! When I was leaving I talked to another customer on the way out and was told this place is full or rude car sales people. Can't imagine getting my car serviced at this joke of dealership. I will be writing as many reviews as I can about Miller Honda who wasted my time and treated me like a crap customer. That guy lost a sale and since I am internet savy I will be posting this everywhere for people to know.

Went there to buy a new car, was promised a great deal over the phone. I told them that I would absolutely not pay over sticker for the car, and they promised me that I would not be wasting my time if I went in. When I went there, their asking price was $5K over sticker. After long negotiations, only got down to $3K over sticker and they gave me a hard time for not accepting the deal. They said it was a hot car and that it would be the best deal in town. I visited several dealers the next day, all of them which offered me prices $3K better than their last offer. I would never waste your time and even set foot into the dealer. You will most certainly find a much lower price somewhere else. They were the most expensive and worst experience I had when shopping for a car.

I bought a timing belt from here that ended up being too big. When I went to try and return the part they immediately said they could not return it because the part was used. The part was never even put on the car. After we established that the part needed to be handled in order to verify that it would not fit they started claiming that I could not return the part because the package was open. That the only thing they could do was to give me an exact same replacement. I informed the man that I had already installed another belt and that I just wanted my money. After several minutes going back and forth I decided to take a replacement part and try to sell it on ebay. When I informed him that I would take his offer on the exact same replacement part, he said he wouldn't give it to me because that part was not defective. A complete contradiction to what he had offered me before. Finally he just got up and started to walk away. I asked for the GM and he said he was out sick. PLEASE save yourself the headache and DO NOT do business with these people.

I bought a timing belt from here that ended up being too big. When I went to try and return the part they immediately said they could not return it because the part was used. My first bad experience was about 25 years ago. I had gone there to check out new cars. I wasn't sure if my credit would qualify me so I filled out some paper work. I got approved. I told the salesman I needed time to think about it and I would get back to him. That salesman called me everyday at WORK till I finally ordered him to stop calling me. let him know his approach didn't work for me and I would never buy a car there.

August 2006
I had bought a 2003 preowned Honda in June and it was totaled late August 2006. My insurance covered a rental for about 30 days. I needed to hurry up and find a new car. I went to MIller Honda of Culver City not because I was going to buy a car there, but they are my local Honda dealer and I wanted to see what was on their lot. I told them my story and they seemed so sympathetic and eager to help. I had gone there wanting to replace the car that was totaled, a 2003 Honda accord ex. We looked all over and they didn't have anything. The salesman kept showing me other things. He saw my desperation and need and he began to try and capitalize on it. I left the lot and told them that if any 2003 EX's came in to give me a call, I was only up the street. About an hour later the phone rang and the salesman told me someone who took a car earlier that week's credit came back not good so they had to bring the car back. I raced over there. I sat in the car, it was nothing like the one I just had. It had cloth seats, not leather and no sunroof. When I asked the salesman about that he said they could add one. I told him I thought they were standard features, he told me they were not. They offered to pay to add an after marked sunroof or leather seats. One or the other. Then they tried to over charge me. They tried to sell me an LX in the dark. Not only that they told me the total for the car after they added the roof and I did the seats would cost me about 25 grand. The EX fully loaded was only 21 grand. I ended up buying both my HONDAS at Santa Monica Honda where I got a great deal and great service. I have often thought of picketing Miller Hinda so others won't get ripped off. Anyone care to join me?

I brought my car in for a standard service and I have had more problems with then I ever had before I brought it in. They broke my corner light and tried to hide it, charged my card multiple times and offered me a rental which they were going to pay for and didn't.. which cost me $300. Not to mention, they call me at 4:20pm and tell me my car is ready to be picked up but I have to get there before 5pm because they close and when I drive 35 minutes there my car was actually NOT finished. A complete waste of time, frustration and gas.

This place needs a serious review by the ownership if they ever expect return business.

I recently purchased my 2008 Honda Civic EX-L from Miller Honda in Culver City. The experience was great and the staff was helpful. Steve from Internet Sales Department made my deal happen. I checked out two other dealer before buying. I totally recommend them. Deal with the Internet Sales Department to get the deal.

All management of every level in there is the most greediest persons I have ever met and that is the golden rule in there so just keep yourself out of harms way they are all trained just to rip you off. and give you a bad service the so call technicians are not more than just a regular workers with no training at all is like taking your car to a guy in the corner. Just to show you how wicked this people is take a look at the good reviews they were made almost in the same date and almost at the same time by the management in their departments because they know how bad they are. Make your voice heard " DON'T GO THERE MAKE YOURSELF A FAVOR"
they tried to rip me off I just went to Norm Reeves and they got a super deal just tell them. You come from the worst dealer and they will tried to make it happen

those other reviews sound like bullsh*t that was written most likely by their internet sales people. that place is so crammed with cars theres almost no parking..maybe out in the street. the sales people are the worst kind of liars. I have a new s2000 that had a defected dash board pad that was bubbling up. I went in to have it replaced and they damaged just about everything they touched to replace it. On the invoice it said that it was a 3.5 hour job that took 3 days to finish. Apparently the tech that was working on it broke a part they needed to order in to finish the job. When I questioned about the screw driver pry marks and the scratches all over the place they got defensive and made it out to seem as if it was all my fault. I took it back to have a few parts that where obviously damaged replaced. They called me told me it was done, and it turned out they had done nothing to the car. Im in the process of bringing this to the attention of someone that can actually do something about this. 4 days without my car and worse damage then what it had to begin with.

Miller Honda is the worst, sleaziest, slickest, unethical, untrustworthy business around. They tried to screw me over a CD player 3 yrs. ago when I bought my certified used Civic from them. Now they are trying to screw me again. Unknown to me until recently, my car had been in a previous accident prior to my purchase. The estimated cost of repairs is $2,000+, plus the cost of a rental while repairs are being made. Miller was only willing to have the repairs done by their body shop, pay for "half" of the repairs (which we know they wouldn't be charged the same "half" as I would) and were unwilling to give me a loaner or pay for the rental. It is my belief they knew of this prior damage and sold the car to me anyway. They are crooked and mean and sleazy beyond belief. Stay away from them!

I know almost every Honda dealer is full of jerks. They know people want their cars, so they use every trick in the book to get over on you.

I spent a couple hours haggling over a car and when we couldn't consummate the deal I asked for my car back (it was being evaluated for trade-in value). The salesman I was working with was so rude to me at this point. Trying to make me feel bad for not buying a car for him. He must have thought I enjoyed wasting two hours of my time on him. The 5 minutes I waited for my car was full of snide remarks and angry words from him.

Forget haggling with these sleazy jerks. Use edmunds.com or some site for internet pricing. The fleet departments are so much nicer with less hassle.

PROS: none.
CONS: Mean.

I will buy all of my cars from these people, not because of the salesmen, but because of the SERVICE DEPARTMENT. They really know how to hook you up.

They are efficient, courteous and knowledgeable about your Honda Car. The service manager Stuart is very professional, and always willing to help. Now, mind you, going to the dealer to get your car taken care of might cost a bit more than going to Joe's auto garage or something, but for me, it is worth it, because I know that my car is going to be properly maintained.

My only beef? They're just too dang busy...but that's a good thing!

Wonderful place to come. The next time I buy a Honda I'm coming here no doubt. This place is very easy to get to and there is ample parking for free! The staff and mechanics are very helfpul and very eager to give you any information about your car or standard care ideas. Affordable prices and look for the coupons and specials they offer. If you get in good with the staff you may be able to wheel and deal a good price on your check ups.

Great auto dealership and the cheapest location to buy my car. I am a Honda fan and when I needed to upgrade my car I looked around at other dealerships. This place was the friendliest. I didn't feel pushed or harrassed in any way. Very easy to askquestions and get straight answers. A+
I will go back again.

Heather... the service advisor... was quite helpful. The shuttle was not available and she offered a courtesy loaner car - this is the first time anyone has made that offer in the years I have been going to the two Miller Honda Locations
