When my friend came in from out of town, she wanted to see everything there is to see in LA. I've taken lots of people around town, but navigating traffic here is such a chore, and parking can be a real nightmare in the more touristy parts of town. I decided to sign us up for a tour with Los Angeles Sightseeing, and we had a blast.

They took us all over--Santa Monica, Venice Beach, Bel Air, Beverly Hills, Hollywood--and we even had time to get out and explore certain neighborhoods. Our guide was very sweet and funny, and she made a real effort to get to the know the people on her tour.

The best part was the movie star homes. My friend was totally starstruck driving around and getting a good look at Jack Nicholson's house and Cameron Diaz's mansion. I've lived here my hwhole life, and even I was impressed.

I had limited time in Los Angeles, and wanted to see as much as I could, so I took the Grand Tour. Wow! I can??t believe how much they packed into one day! We saw a lot of different aspects of the city. There was the celebrity stuff, of course, like movie stars?? homes and Hollywood Blvd., but we also saw Chinatown and Olvera St, Union Station, a cathedral, a concert hall, and a lot more. There were scenic views of the beaches and the Hollywood sign, and we visited shopping areas such as Rodeo Drive and the Third St Promenade. It wasn??t just a drive by, either. They stopped often and let us explore on our own. Now when I come back, I can choose which areas I want to spend more time in. The driver was friendly and informative, and the price can??t be beat.

When my family came to Southern California, we based ourselves in LA but wanted to see some other things too. We did our homework, and found Los Angeles Sightseeing offered a ton of different tours that could take us to some of the bigger attractions around. We have 2 kids, so decided to go to Seaworld in San Diego. It made for a long day, but the nice part is that neither my husband nor I had to drive. The bus picked us up right at our hotel, took us to Seaworld (tickets included) and then brought us home. It was comfortable, easy and helped me relax and enjoy the dolphins and seals even more. Definitely a great day, and a great company.

Since I was born and raised in Southern California, my co-workers in Texas (where I now live) elected me to arrange an open air bus tour of Hollywood. At first I was reluctant because I thought I could do a pretty fair job on my own and save the company money, but now I am certainly glad that I chose Los Angeles Sightseeing for our tour. First, it was incredibly easy to book a tour online since the website was so easy to navigate. Second, I could pick from a huge variety of tours. I chose the Hollywood tour that ran for about three and a half hours. Our tour guide was far more knowledgeable than I could ever be, and we saw everything from the Hollywood Sign (my fave) to the Mann's Chinese Theater to the Kodak to the beach. The price was very affordable as well. Highly recommended!

If you want to have a great time when you visit LA, you should definitely take a tour or two with Los Angeles Sightseeing Tours. This is the best tour company I've tried yet. I often tell my husband how much I hate the way customer service seems to be dead in today's time. People are so often uninterested in helping their customers and sometimes they are downright rude or arrogant--not so with Los Angeles Sightseeing. I booked online but then called later to see if we could add on an extra person. The representative I talked with was super nice and more than willing to accommodate us. They get high marks in that regard.

As far as the tour was concerned, it was a 15 on a scale of 1 to 10. We took so many great pictures, and our guide had a ton of insider-type details to share with us! We got to see everything from the beach and the Pacific Ocean to Jim Henson's star on the Walk of Fame. I'll never forget Rodeo Drive or getting to see where some of my favorite celebrities live. It was wonderful!

Had a fun experience with Los Angeles Sightseeing Tours! I took a group of friends, and wasn't sure whether everyone would be into it, but we ended up having a great time. Some of my group had never been to LA before, so the tour was a good intro to the city for them. The bus takes you to the beaches, Hollywood, the Sunset Strip, Beverly Hills--all the classic LA landmarks. On the tour we took (city tour and movie star homes) we saw the Hollywood sign, the walk of stars, Mann??s Chinese theater, Rodeo Drive, and some crazy celebrity mansions.

Even if you??ve been to some of these places before, it??s a fun trip because the driver gives interesting background on the locations. The buses are comfy, and there are stops so you can get out and walk around and take pictures. (And enjoy the good weather, which is important if your friends are visiting from freezing cold states in the winter!) The length of the tour is good (just a few hours), so you still have time to do another activity the same day. We really liked our driver--he cracked funny jokes and generally made the whole experience enjoyable. We bonded with a couple of the other people on our tour, too--I think this would be a good way to meet people if you were new in town or traveling solo to LA. Anyway, I enjoyed our tour and would definitely try LA Sightseeing again!

I am a huge fan of Los Angeles Sightseeing Tours! There were so many companies trying to sell tours of celebrity homes in LA (not to mention all the guys selling maps and acting like you can just wander around and see them yourself ?? which is really not true), and we chose this one pretty much at random, and are very glad that we did.
I was with three other friends from school, and we all wanted to see the Walk of Fame and all the gorgeous mansions on Mulholland, and we had a really nice tour guide who knew where everything was and actually told interesting and funny stories that we didn??t already know. Our trip also went along the Santa Monica Pier and we saw a few beautiful beaches. The trip is definitely touristy, with stops so that you can take pictures of the really famous places, but that??s pretty cool ?? I got a shot of the Hollywood sign that??s as good as a postcard because we had a perfect view.
You can charter private tours, I think of pretty much any size that you want, and I would recommend that to anyone looking to see more of LA in a laid back and fun way with friends or family. Take this tour on your second or third day in LA so that you aren??t totally jet lagged and then you??ll know if you want to plan a longer trip for shopping or to the beach later in your vacation.

As an LA native I didn't think I'd enjoy something like this as much as I did! I for sure recommend it to friends and family coming from out of town. My relatives, aunts uncles and their teens + kids got a kick out of it.
