DMR Gutters

Dave just finished the gutter work on our home. If you live in Portland there is only one person you should call to install/replace your gutters. Innovative excellent craftsmanship with a just a touch of Oh-My-Gosh. Plan ahead because he is usually booked out for months in advance. Well worth the wait.

We have used DMR gutters for our last 2 houses and will use him for our new home in a few months. David does excellent work for fair prices. He takes pride in doing a quality job, which is why we come back to him each time we move. We recommend DMR without reservation!

Dave is in demand but is worth any wait you might encounter! He installed - by himself - long runs of seamless copper gutters at our home and they look and work just great. They will likely be around and working long after my other water pipes quit and I'm gone! Dave is reliable, works hard and doesn't take time from your job to bid others. We are very pleased and recommend him without reservation.

not only does David do exceptional work, he will only charge for what he does. his estimates are not inflated and if it turns out that his parts are less than the estimate, the cost to the homeowner is reduced. this is the kind of integrity that all business owners, no matter how large, should strive for. I love my gutters! How could one love gutters? Well, when they work well, are artfully crafted in copper, and make what might be an otherwise plain arbor really stunningly beautiful (yes) with not just gutters but copper trim on a translucent roof. And working with David was a pleasure from the beginning to the end because he's thoughtful, a fine craftsman, on time (important to all of us busy people), and takes care of any oversights or unexpected pitfalls, of which there are many in remodeling construction. He also interacts and works well with the contractors and workmen on site.

I would recommend DMR Gutters to anyone who wants quality gutters and workmanship. I went with DMR Gutters as soon as I found out that the less expensive vendors were going to cut off the decorative tails on my 1916 home. David not only assured me that he could keep the tails but he had the experience to remove the wood rot that the previous gutters created, install a support system for the new gutters, and install the new gutters in a way that would prevent future wood rot from re-occurring. Throughout the course of the project David found problems that are expected to be found in old homes (sagging roof lines, broken tails, etc.). David not only was able to resolve these issues, but came up with innovative solutions that bettered my home. One of the reasons we went with DMR Gutters was the detail that was provided on their web page. This type of workmanship was also demonstrated in the quality and detail that went into the installation of our gutters, chimney flashing and ridge caps. One option that we thoroughly enjoy is the rain-cup storm drain that David installed for us. We often receive compliments on our home since this work was done. Thanks to David for his wonderful work!
