The studios are beautiful. I usually go to Kasey's Saturday class at 4pm. It's a great way to calm down on the weekend. Kasey varies the difficulty within the class and every class is unique. I recommend her class to all levels.

The studio is big and beautiful. The classes are donation based, and there are tons of them.

I love Louisette's late night class on Tue. & Thurs. a perfect class to mellow/wind down. Other great ones are so plentiful, there are too many names to mention. Check it out. Now!

Yogaco, (one of the many new donation yoga studios in Santa Monica) is the most beautiful, and special feeling studio I have ever practiced in (outside of the open-air retreat studios I have been to in Costa Rica...That said, even though this studio is encased in walls (nestled above the 3rd st. Promenade of all places)...The second you walk into their space...you feel much the same as I have felt in more foreign/ Zen surroundings! I have only taken yoga there three times, and tend to move around per my schedule, which is on my own hours and out of my home...but even without a steady routine or teacher I have had a serene and lovely experience there every time! I tend to like evenings, so I took Tamal's and Grant's classes in one week at 6pm...both are sweet young polite men, who are friendly, warm and sincere and give a lot of positive vibes and alignment and breathing instruction. Both had beautiful music .. though very different musical tastes. When I mentioned to an avid yogi friend of mine that I had loved both classes, she told me about their third partner, a girl, named Kelsie...i was skeptical cause I typically like male teachers, but I am in the explore stage and thinking of getting certified, so I wanted to try her class..Just so happened I had to be at a dinner last Thursday so I couldn't take the 6pm and went to Kelsie's slightly earlier class instead...
she, too, surprised me. She has an engaging lightness about her. Very feminine energy and yet, still taught a really hard workout of a yoga class, also set to great music. She's super self-deprecating, and comfortable, which I thought was cute...she doesn't take herself too seriously at all like many other teachers out there..
Anyway, overall, I can't say a bad word about the studio except that, despite it's beauty and the array of good teachers and classes, I did have to ask for more toilet paper from the front desk...so no business is perfect!
I am excited to go back to their classes and dip and delve into many more of their studios' teachers...The environment is so superb you will want to go back for sure...so really try to find your fit. yuo won't regret it!
(FYI...I have never done a "review"...One of the teachers specifically mentioned they are a "baby business" and they would be honored if the students had any specific thoughts, that they would write business review...hence my layman's review...:).
so sorry to all the experts if I didn't give relative information!
