The dim lighting and good music created a nice warm sophisticated atmosphere. However, my birthday party was sort of ruined when they ran out of alot of things on the menu and we sat at the table for 2.5 hours before they served us! The hostess gave us an attitude the whole time. The drinks were watered down and all they had to mix drinks with was Sake. They didn't even offer us water! We had to ask for it! So all in all its poorly staffed, poorly managed, and small portions for the $. I didn't even get the birthday dessert I wanted cause they ran out of everything! That's too bad when there's so much potential. They need to wheel and come again!

Went To Spur Tree Wednesday night. The music was incredible and the food was so yummy. We had the best time, chair dancing while we ate!! When we finished eating we had an after dinner drink at the bar and grooved to the great sound sound of the dj. He played everything from Dennis Brown to Prince. Spur Tree is a must!! Especially on Wednesday's!!

I must agree with the previous review that "Spur Tree" is a secluded island spot is definitely the place to be. The ambience of Bar/restaurant is really warm, cozy and mellow. The staff is friendly, attentive and attractive! The decor of the Spur Tree really sets the right tone for the night. People are a mature crowd, which is definitely an added plus and its casual affair. Food:we chose that night island spicy chicken, salmon with rice and peas. let me just tell you the savorey flavor of the chicken bursts in your mouth with ultimate flavor, you will feel like you went the Caribbean and back. Try the veggie dumplings and the salmon. The dessert was delightful bread pudding with a scoop of vanilla icecream and garnished with a mint; absolutely perfect night. the kitchen closes 12am. so hurry in for the food, Drinks we had Ginger Melon Mojito right on point. drinks $7 and up. can't beat that at all, food definitely delicious and filling. parking suggestion since its Soho, there are lots, but the later you go like 1045 -11pm street parking can be found, but watch for the signs... This place has it all, good food, music and fun people. I have found my new Saturday night spot. Spur Tree is like no other. can't wait for the summer so we can go out on the patio and absorb the sun.

I love the super chill vibe at Spur Tree Lounge. It feels like a taste of when NYC was not trifling but fun. Its not a full on bar but they have done well with there wine and beer choices plus there cocktail mixes - love the watermelon Mojito - $7. The cost of the drinks are beyond affordable feels on heard of- you would have to go to a pub for this. Did I mention I love the music - Saturday night is the ultimate Reggae nite for me - DJ Major takes u through years of old school and new. I swear he is only playing for me!
One Love, One Music. One belly cause the food is good too. Can not wait for the Spring they have a Garden super cute and quiet. Can you tell I love this place.
