In the mid 1970’s, Bill Bennett was running a successful executive placement firm serving the local tri-county area. This was an era of the mini-computer. Mini computers were changing the scene; mid-sized companies were finally able to afford automation like the big guys, giving them the ability to be more nimble in the market. Bill noticed the surge in demand for application developers who could program these mini computer environments, and decided to form a company of talented programmers to capitalize on the market opportunity. After his initial success, Bill formally launched ForeSight in 1977. With the PC revolution in the 1980’s, we saw the rise of the local area network and were an initial adopter of this technology for our clients. Bill’s son, David, joined the firm in 1980 at the young age of 12. Fully immersed in the engineering team, David began seeing clients at the still tender age of 15 – he had to be driven to our client’s office as he didn’t have a driver’s license! Along with a name change to Connections for Business, our firm dealt with the swiftly altering landscape in the technology world. Our focus now, as it was then, is to provide elegant yet affordable solutions to our clients business needs. We always take care of the “technical stuff” so our clients can channel their energies in prospering their own business. And for more than three decades, we’ve had phenomenal success doing exactly that. With Bill’s retirement in 2003, his son David stepped in to run the business along with a partner, Daniel Martin. The duo has grown the firm into the leading managed services provider in South Florida today. Our roots in application development remain strong, and make us completely unique in our market. The applications team is lead by Matthew Giles, and is instrumental in developing ConnectSMART, a business dashboard and reporting tool that we built to help us manage our own practice, and now resell to our “competitors” around the world.

These guys are great. They took over all my computer needs and all my problems with downtime stopped. Now my company can spend 100% of our time working with clients instead of fixing network issues. Our increased profits more than covered there fee.
