Great guys and gals... Good price, worked with me on the labor and gave me 40% off! "Nice Job Fellas Great price, fast turnaround, outstanding customer service and very imformitive... I recommend these guys all day... Call them 1st if you want to not get the runaround. Call these guys 1st, we called 6 shops and towed our van to 3 shops and in the end factory direct transmission were the cheapest and gave double the warranty. We checked them out with the BBB and they have an A rating... Call them 1st!" You won't be sorry!

This company is just one big scam. First off, on some sites they claim to be member of Atra- Automatic Transmission Rebuilders Association............which they are not. Also when it comes to the BBB all you have to do is pay reg. membership dues and they will probably give you a good rating. They (FTD) also stack most review sites with their own false reviews. For example, one site in particular had a positive review about a month ago as a customer called "sweetdikwillie" (no joke). Now, if you look at that site you'll see a ad for them under the same name. I don't know if I can mention the site here but it starts with a Y.

If you take your car in to them be prepared to cough up a couple thousand or possibly lose your car. Their scam is......... you take your car in to have it looked at and they tell you "well on initial inspection we can't find the problem so we'll have to take out the transmission." What they don't tell you is that it's going to cost a fortune. They are also going to give you the run around. When you do get a hold of them they're are going to claim that they've already started work on the car so now you have to pay for repairs. They more than likely have not even touched your car.

Before taking your car in, first look at your transmission (find out what looks like) check to see if you can find a serial number or make some sort of identifiable mark on it. I have a reason to say this. If you make the mistake of taking your car to them, try to stay there until the work is done. If that's not possible go down there in person and don't let them put you off. If they claim it's not finished make them show you the car. They'll probably show you a transmission on the ground which is probably not yours.

Ask to see under the hood (it's your right) they'll most likely tell you that they can't do that because of insurance reasons or some other excuse which is a lie.........demand to see your car. If all is not as it seems remove your car. Always make sure you get a written estimate for any diagnostic or repair work first. Unfortunately we did not have this knowledge at the time. If this happens to you file a claim with a Consumer Services agency. Good luck.
