Update: I sent a friend over to have a Honda key made for his new Honda, and surprise: Seacoast was able to do it, and was much cheaper than the dealership or anyone else.\r
Needed a key to my truck. I've driven by this place for years

I'm new to the area so I needed my locks rekeyed at my home. I did what I usually do when I need to call a company for services but have never used anyone in that line of work. I looked companies up online. I looked into Seacoast Lock,

I'd gone to (2) Home Depots and a Lowes in the area and none of them had the keys I needed. All told me that I had to go to Seacoast Lock to get them done accurately. Well, I'll tell you this: Seacoast Lock is THE place to get your keys

Ok, I have never left multiple reviews for a company. I had an unpleasant experience with this company, and have been since bombarded with emails in which Paul (the owner) has accused me of being from another company in the area, accused me of being a former employee, and questioned where I grew up. I have no patience for someone who will act so childish and unprofessional. Not only that, Paul, but you keep posting reviews on your own review site. You call them ""Advertisements"", this is not an advertisement site, it is a review site. In fact, the button that you clicked to advertise said ""Leave a review"". Furthermore, you give yourself a five-star-rating in each of these ""advertisements"". As the owner of this company, I'm sure those five-star-ratings are more than slightly biased. Again, this is a review site, for customers to leave reviews of their experience with your company, it not designed for you, as the owner, to inflate your customer rating, advertise with the same thing multiple times a day, slander your employees and former employees, slander your customers, and act like a child. Grow up Mr. Paul Letourneau. I wouldn't want to work for you either.
I also just noticed that you had my previous review removed. It seems funny that you would have a real review from an actual customer removed, simply for stating the truth. If all of these other reviews are really fake? why aren't you having those reviews removed? I am not buying your story. And, as for Angie's list, that is a pay site. If someone is not a member, I don't see why they would pay to sign up only to leave a review for you. That seems pretty impractical if you ask me.
Sincerely,
one extremely agitated customer
Sally

I called Seacoast Lock & Safe to install a pushbar on the door of our warehouse facility. They promised to do the work and then procrastinated for weeks. When they finally came to do the job they sent someone who was obviously inexperienced and totally unprofessional. They jammed up the door and lock mechanism that protects our multi million dollar inventory, but pretended it was fixed. I called SSL& Co. repeatedly that day to , as our customers were pounding on the door, but could not get in. They promised to send someone over to fix it, but never no one ever showed up. When I asked who the owner was and could I speak them, I was told they were not allowed to give that information out. As it got close to five o'clock, I called another locksmith who literally mocked their work and had the door fixed in about an hour. Now, years later, the owner of Seacoast has suddenly appeared to paint himself as somehow unfairly maligned in all this. Don't believe a word, and don't call them unless you want BIG problems and an even BIGGER and totally unwarranted bill.

Hired to change a lock and givin a quote. What they installed was a restricted key lock tumbler (with out my authorization) that was very difficult to get duplicate keys made. This was not done as ordered and then they have the nerve to bill me double the quoted figure I was orignially given. I offered to pay 40 % higher the normal rate for this work if they would supplie keys and put the tumbler I requested in the first place in. They refused and I was one of 3 cases the same day in small claims court with a problem with Seacoast and lost. Beware, Beware, Beware....
