My husband and I used Paws Sitter for our pets many years ago, since then we moved out of town, but have just returned. I have recommeded Patsy to many people, and all have been satisified. I am excited to be in town and able to use her services again, because we travel and her prices are better than boarding. We have two dogs and a cat. I used to have a bird too. She knows how to take care of them all. I don't even think they miss us!!! Highest recommendations....

I have to agree with the great reviews for VCA Oso Creek Animal Hospital. I was referred to them when my frenchie was terminally ill. Dr. Vaughan treated her and was very compasionate, knowledgeable and sincere on her diagnosis. She did not make it (nothing to do with Dr. Vaughan's) but he was very supportive and patient with me. The former vet who treated her wanted to send my frenchie to get an autopsy to find out what caused her death (it was unknown). My fenchie would have to be sent to Texas A&M-College Station; however, Dr. Vaughan informed the former vet that he could do the autopsy. Dr. Vaughan not only helped me from traveling to get her back (I wanted her cremated) but it was a big relief for me after going thru this trauma of losing my pup. Days before the autopsy was going to be performed, I took a kit to get my puppy's paw casted. While at the vet's office one of the staff members informed me that Dr. Vaughan instructed the staff to put the kit together and the to assurre me that they would take care of everything. I was still emotional distress and relieved at the same time knowing that they did this for me! Dr. Vaughan was considerate about my emotions. I truly believe he is a great vet, he has great bedside manners and has the people's skills. Dr. Vaughan and the VCA's staff is very sincere about providing great customer service. Yes, they are a bit expensive but they have to be in order to provide 24 hours service. But, they are truly worth it! Thank you Dr. Vaughan and Staff!

VCA Oso Creek has been my regular vet for some time now. Their clinic is one of the best! Not only are they taking regular appointments, but they are a 24 hour EMERGENCY center. My 2yr. bull dog was constantly vomiting and had blood diarrhea. I called Oso immediately and they adviced me to come in as soon as possible. When I came in, the clinic was full with other clients and pets. I was promptly greeted and checked-in. The receptionists told me that they did not have an exam room available for us to be placed at this time. They informed me that they would get me in as soon as a room opened up. While I was waiting, the receptionist came up to my pet and made sure he was stable. No more than 20 minutes I was placed into a room, spoke with a caring technician, and then seen by Dr. Vaughan! He was incredibly sincere, caring, very thorough, extremely knowledgable, and even got down on the floor to exam my pet. They diagnosed my pet with HGE, my pet was hospilized. I came in on visiting hours, to visit my pet in the hospital and saw that the Oso Creek staff was taking very good care of my kiddo. Couple days later Bruizer was released and is now so much better! Thank you Oso Creek Staff for taking such wonderful care of my baby boy! They are going to be one of the most expensive clinic, but you must remember they are open 24/7 for Emergencies. The price also reflects the excellence of the staff and doctors!! So I greatly recommend Oso Creek if you want the best care and love for your pets!

My first experience at Oso Creek was an emergency, my puppy at the time (he is now 5 years old) was allergic to the bordetella shot. I had to take him in at 1 in the morning and they were very helpful and kind. I continued to take him to his normal vet, switched vets, and never received the same comfort. My dog broke his hind leg and had to be taken into emergency (on a Sunday) again at Oso Creek over a year ago. Dr. Posey performed the surgery and has been very helpful and understanding to this day. He is easier to get a hold of through e-mail, but he answers all my questions and concerns. The prices are high, but I think this hospital is well worth it - the staff really is compassionate for animals and what they do. The facility also is very clean, which is a plus for me. I will continue to bring my pet there and pets in the future there! :]

My wife and I's first encounter with Oso creek is not an easy time to write about. We were sent there by our vet's office after hours because our Golden Retriever, Jed, of 11 years was not doing well. After emergency surgery that gave us a short week with our Jed, we had to rush him back and he had to be put to rest. This is the hardest thing I have ever had to do in my entire life, however had we not been sent to Oso creek and experienced the staf'f's compassion and love for animals. I do not think I would have survived. When Vet's get down on the floor and love on your pet it makes a difference. We actually adopted a little black rescue down from them that weighed 8 pounds, he now weighs 98 pounds 2 years later. He was in the kennel next to my Jed during his stay. We now have Bodie, the sheppard from Oso, Truck, the Golden Retreiver we bought in Corpus, and our latest editon Ellie Mae, a Golden, Chow mix we adopted form a rescue legue in Jackson, Mississippi. Yes, we moved back home about a year ago and that is the reason of this comment. Although, we like our Vet's office and our Vet. I do not think I wil ever have the confidence, trust, or general liking of any Vet's office that I still have in Oso Creek. If any of you guys from the office read this. Bryan and Tina say hello!!!

I was in Corpus Christi for the weekend with my little Yorkie. We are from Austin. She could not urinate and could not walk so I took her to OSO Creek at 10:30 p.m. on a Friday night. Everyone was very nice. They kept her the night which I cried my eyes out! One of the techs hugged me to assure me that everything would be alright. They called me at 3AM to tell me that she had 3 large bladder stones and they had to be removed. Her surgery was done on Saturday by Dr. Posey. He was wonderful. The staff told me to call as many times as I wish for updates on my baby. I didn't even have to call much because the staff would call me to tell me how my baby was!!

Dr. Posey called me right before the surgery and as soon as surgery was over. I was able to take her back home on Sunday. Our vet at home removed the stitches and all is better now. Thank you Dr. Posey, Dr, Harbaugh, and staff at Oso Creek for caring for my little Yorkie!!

After taking my dogs to Oso Creek Animal Hospital the first time, I was hooked. The building is gorgeous and large. The staff is very friendly and always talked to my animals. They even have a walk on scale to way my large dogs. The front lounge is always clean and fresh smelling. Dr. Vaughn, the vet. is the greatest, he is friendly, explains things well, and seems to genuinely love animals. The prices are reasonable and he will even make housecalls for a very small fee (it was $10, but might have gone up) I can't say enought about Oso Creek Animal Hospital, if you are unhappy with your vet - give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

PROS: Great with animals.
CONS:

Our animals were boarded at Oso Creek while we were moving. The staff was great to them. The dog was exercised regularly and given ample attention. The cat was allowed to sit in the window and watch birds daily. Music was played to keep the cats company. We were pleased with the service and the price.
