This is definitely a cool, hip spot that you can't go wrong with. I went to the opening 2 weeks ago and always loved this space. (It use to be Boucarou) The food is inventive and the atmosphere is chill. A must try!

this place is a nightmare. i made dinner reservations for 6 friends on a thursday night. at this point restaurant was open two wks. we show up, and they are having some kind of private party and there are about 40 people in the bar area making a scene. we get seated, and after 25 minutes without water or a drink order taken, i finally have to get up to ask an employee to send our waiter. what followed was a disaster. the music was playing so loudly in the restaurant that we couldnt hear ourselves think, let alone talk. simultaneously, someone was making annoucements over the speaker system all night about the private party that was being hosted, such that everyone was interupted about every 5 mins. I felt like i was trapped on a princess cruiseship. the table was badly organized, the chairs were too high and you could barely fit your legs beneath the table. we were missing silverwear and had a mishmosh of wine glasses. one of the entrees we ordered came about 25 minutes after everyone else's food. somone else had a hair in their dish and also 5 out of 6 of our friends disliked their entrees based on taste alone. this restaurant does not take service seriously, and is trying to be a bar, club, multimedia space (they played movies on the wall all night), and a private event venue in one. there are so many amazing restaurants in nyc why wouldnt this place just try and serve good food and stick to one discipline? honestly, this place is a waste of time and will be out of business in no time.

I had the Betty's Burger and it was amazing. It had foie gras and truffles and was the tastiest thing i ever had. My wife had the tartare threesome and the short ribs and she loved them as well. Drinks also great and interesting and service was up to par as well

Pros: food and the magnificent art work

I enjoyed the non-traditional menu. Each dish had a special flair that is indicative of a great chef. The staff was very nice and warm. I felt welcome which I find rare in NYC restaurants.
