.

Pros: 1.) Millennium is located right near the light-rail so if you work uptown commuting is not bad.
2.) The apartments are really pretty.

Cons: 1.)The walls are so thin, I am pretty sure I could hear a pin drop in any of my neighbor's apartments - when the people above me are walking around - I swear it sounds like Goliath, I hear the alarm clocks of people beside me, and the hall doors shutting outside have woken me up in the night because I think someone is coming into my apartment.
2.) Beyond the noise, the staff is awful - they treat you as if you were without neurons.
3.) They have contracted with Time Warner, so you can only get phone, internet, and television from Time Warner and don't offer a group price like other properties in the area - so add at least $120 to your monthly costs if you want cable, internet, or a phone line.
4.) There is supposed to be free-wifi by the pool, but the signal is non-existent most of the time and even if you can connect it is way too slow to be worth it.
5.) All of the switches in my apartment are crooked - which I didn't notice until I started decorating, and now it looks really odd - friends comment about the drunk electrician who had to install them.
6.) They put in reserved parking spaces about a week ago without notifying residents and started towing people who parked in a spot that they previously could.

The Millennium is just as expensive as some of the properties that are actually in Uptown who have done a great job with insulation and customer service...and it is more expensive than the apartments that are directly around it - especially when you consider that many of the others include water and have discounts on cable or internet services.
