HORRIBLE APARTMENTS!! Can someone please show me a business that encompasses customer service as a part of their business model! How about basics...you pay money-get at the very least what you pay for. At the Reserve Apartments at the Landing, you don't get anywhere near what your hard earned dollar should get you. I've read a lot of reviews on these apartments and I wished I would've done that before moving here. I paid $950 for a studio apartment, which was an excellent deal considering the walk-in closet, extra big bathroom and decent size living space in the apartment. So I signed the longest possible lease. I thought when I signed a lease with this property that I would be paying for a habitable unit. WRONG. I was actually forced out of my lease because the incompetent managers don't know a thing about problem solving or a thing about GOOD customer service. My apartment was INFESTED with CARPET BEETLES and the first thing I'm told by the regional manager of this property is it's not their fault the bugs are there! I was appauled at this statement. I asked if I could move to another unit and all they had available was 2 apartments in the Sanctuary next door and 1 apartment in my building. All 3 apartments were more rent than what I was already paying. After going back and forth they finally agree to offer me a 4th floor apartment at the rent I was paying. (My apt was on the 5th floor mind you) I go to look at this apartment and low and behold I see the same little black critters on the floor. I asked the manager I know those are not bugs right there...don't you know she lied directly to my face and said no that's just dirt. Yeah right why would the dirt look exactly like the little BUGS I've been seeing in my apartment?? Anyway...I'm rambling but bottom line is you will not get what you pay for here...if you're easily won over by the way things look than this is definitely the place for you. Just hope and pray you don't have to go through what I went through living with bugs for over a month and getting bugs all in your personal belongings. Then on top of that, the pain of having to move out with 2 of the 3 elevators being broken. They are probably trying to get their act together now since I'm sure they are breaking some kind of code letting their buildings go on being INVADED by BUGS. It's disgusting and I WOULD NOT recommend this property.

Looking at this apartment complex from the outside in....it seems amazing! Safe garage, FOB key entrance, recently buillt, close to everything etc etc. LOOKS ARE DECEIVING!!! \n\nFirst off, these apartments are CHEAP!!! You can literally hear everything that goes on! People below you, people above you, full on conversations walking thru the hallways, echoes thru the courtyard and so on! Summer was horrible because everyone has their windows open and you can hear people constantly. I hear both y neighbors television upstairs and next to me constantly. No sense in complaining because you know it is only because this place is so cheaply built. \n\nDuring the day its so fooling because it seems so nice and quiet. The gym is too small for this size of a complex as well as the pool during the summer. They have removed the blinds from the gym for god knows what reason. Now when you are working out you feel like people are staring at you thru the large floor to ceiling windows by the door. \n\nThere is a nice clubhouse that you can never go in unless you are renting. The elevators are slow. People smoke in the stairwell. This place is WAY overpriced. The floors aren't even wood yet they advertise ""hardwood"" floors. \n\nAs mentioned in another review there was white stuff that ruined the paint on my car. They told us they wouldn't pay for it. There is no break on renewing a lease if by some odd chance you wanted to renew. By far I would never recommend this place to anyone!

The apartments are nice. The elevators are super slow and the garbage cans are always overflowing. I have not been impressed since we first moved in, but now I am writing this after a terrible experience with the management. My SUV was severely damaged by the Reserve's parking garage ceiling dripping some sort of white deposit all over my car. The management is REFUSING TO PAY. I also heard that they knew about this problem over a year ago. About 15 other people have had their cars damaged too.\n\nDO NOT LIVE HERE. IT SEEMS NICE, BUT THE MANAGEMENT IS UNETHICAL.

I have only lived at The Reserve for two months now. Within days I was already having issues. When I moved in I was told that my apartment had never been lived in, which isnt hard to believe because these units are all brand new. I was assured my unit had been cleaned. When I went to take my first bath my bathtub was covered in construction dust. The only thing in the apartment that had been cleaned were the carpets...they were vacuumed. Four days after moving in I went to do laundry and my washer machine would only fill up with water and not drain, or go through a full spin cycle. I called the office and visited twice before getting a call back. After nine days it was finially in the process of being fixed, but I had to use a different unit to do my laundry until the unit was fixed. One week ago I ran into a neighbor whom had the same issue with their washer and dryer. My unit faces south and I dont get direct sun light, but these units have very stagnant air and retain an imense amount of heat. I was unable to keep my dog whom is a german shepard collie in my unit because he would go through a 5 gallon tank of water each day due to the heat in the apartment and it was too uncomfortable for him. The sink started to rust in the kitchen within the first week (this I hardley use because I work at a restaurant and eat all my food their). The water tastes horrible, brita does not make it better..trust me. I have requested to speak with management, left several voice mails and still have not heard anything back from their team. Its extmremely annoying when I pay $900 for a studio apartment and they cant even return a phone call. They are accomodating at first, but I guerantee almost every unit has issues and everyone I have come into contact has had a complaint. I dsigned a 15 month lease and am leaving after two months. Im 22 and not picky, but the heat in the unit is unbarable, I have gotten sick several times in the middle of the night.

New Review after 6 months:\nI can honestly say I dont understand the other reviews... I absolutely LOVE living here and have not had any problems. The location is perfect being next to all the stores and freeway, and the staff from my experience has been nothing but helpful. I did not have the problem with the garage that a few other posters mentioned, but I still cant say that would knock my entire review down to a single star. No one is ever in the gym when I go at night, which is AWESOME as I get it all to myself.\n\nYou -can- hear the road traffic, at least from my room. While some people may find that annoying, I personally enjoy the ambiance. I never hear my neighbors unless they are on their porch talking loudly which has happened once in the 6 months ive lived here.\n\nThe elevators are slow too, but not enough to bother me. The pros vastly outweigh the cons in my book.\n\n\nReview after first few weeks:\n---------\nOnly moved in about a few weeks ago, so will update in a few months if things are different. So far it is very nice. The apartment we moved into is brand new, spacious, and quite lovely. The grounds are also quite nice and everything looks very clean. Maintenance was extremely courteous and polite.\n\nThe location of the complex is amazing being right next to The Landing, and 5 exits down from the Seattle Airport / other shops.\n\nI will agree with the previous review that the leasing staff member I was working with acted as if I was inconveniencing her when I went in to sign the papers. (Hence the 4/5 stars.) While she was very helpful, it seemed as if she would rather not be there. The other staff members I encountered were welcoming and great.\n\nThe elevators -can- be slow but so far it has not been much of an issue. My only other complaints are paying $50/mo for my two pets (seriously?!).\n\nHave not had any noise problems, but it -may- be that this wing is not yet filled since these apartments are relatively new.

The reserve is beautiful, there is no doubt about it, great location, nice looking facility, parking garages, spacious apartments, etc. But beauty is only skin deep. \n\nWe have had several issues with the reserve. The first bad experience we had was the loud neighbors above us. I commented on it to one of the leasing agents (not management), and she said she'd get on it right away. A week later I conversed with her about it again and she said she hadn't gotten around to it yet. Three or four days later I called her and she told me ""yeah that lady really scares me."" We ended up, after a month, talking to the apartment manager and our option was ""You can move on site, but you will have to pay the carpet cleaning fee."" So I had my friend come over, since she said they wouldn't help, and we moved, no big deal. The new apartment is way better because it's on the top floor. \n\nAbout a month after we moved, our secure parking garage got broken into (imagine that). A car got stolen and some onsite storage units got broken into. To my knowledge (3 months later) they still haven't found the car. As soon as I learned about this (december 23), I went down to check our storage unit but the locks had already been changed, which I was happy about, but I couldn't get keys until the 26th since the office was closed. I sent an email to the manager and she assured me that ours hadn't been broken into and if it had we would already know. She lied. When we finally got our keys, on the 27th, because they couldn't go next door to Lowe's on the 26th and make copies (??), I went down to the unit and our door was ajar, and my guitars were missing ($1000 or so). I told her that she should check her records before assuring people that they haven't had a break in. Two days later she has the guile to call me and say ""remember how I called you a few days ago and told you that your storage unit had been broken into?"" OMG! When I corrected her she was quick to apologize, but still.....\n\nRecently, the unsecure storage unit in our unsecure garage flooded. I was informed about it, and moved my things to another unit (without any of their help). I've recently been informed that I will see no reimbursement for any of our things that were damaged. She even admitted to me that it was faulty construction. \n\nSo those are the major problems that we've had here, and I'm sure other people have had different experiences. I think there are, however, a few things we can agree on: the elevators are slow, the floors are paper thin, the management is incompetent, and the leasing agents make you feel like you're inconveniencing them when you go to pay your rent. This place is a rip off, I would not recommend it to anyone, even people I don't like. Tell your friends, tell your friends' friends. If someone from the management team is reading this, you know who I am, and I am not happy.
