It looks good from the outside, but be really carefully if you are looking at leasing in this community. Both Corporate and On-site management are below average.

This community gets an A for covering up the problem with parking. During the leasing process they quickly tell you that they have sufficient parking but they neglect to mention that this is based on where your unit is located. The units in the main building where the pool and club house are dont have assigned parking. If you lease one of these units, good luck parking near your apartment. This is especially annoying on grocery days or rainy days. Dont bother speaking to management about parking, they will simply tell you to buy a grocery cart for your groceries.

If you are handicap and need to park near your apartment good luck with that too. The only visible spot during the six months I lived here was located conveniently in front of the leasing office.

Overall parking in this community is so bad, that even the police officer that lives on site has to park on the side curve. Luckily his car wont be towed for parking there but residents dont have that option.

Another thing to point out, if you are in unit 1226 its in front of the kids play area. The community will tell you that you won t hear any noise. This is also untrue, kids are loud and screen often. Lets face it s what kids do but the community should be up front with this information because your bedroom window in front of the play area and there would be no sleeping in at all.

Absolutely Terrible. I have lived at NPOL for 2.5 years. The first 2 years were great, but the parking situation has gotten out of hand and has made all the other issues even more frustrating. \r

My lease is up in November. A list of why I will not renew my lease. 1. Parking is gotten out of hand. 24/7 there are tow truck drivers running around towing peoples cars if they don??t have a parking pass over the rear view mirror. I have seen over 10 cars in less than 2 weeks get towed. One lady was moving out putting her plants in the car & from walking up the stairs to walking back down her car was gone. I stopped the guy but let??s face it those guys are di*ks and don??t care what you have to say. And we all have visitors but it maybe 12-15 parking spaces for visitors and its up front as well so if you live in the back they better be ready to walk. It??s just a pain to have company over. 2. After renewing my lease last year my lights went out outside I called the front office and they said that they don??t replace light bulbs or water filters anymore. (To me that is BS, AS much money we pay on rent.). 3. The Pool at one time was great!! I have to admit it??s the best pool in Houston, but they put a stop to that. There are 5 entrances to the pool and if you live in the back like I do you have to walk all the way to the freaking front to the pool to get your arm band (this is during the weekend). They lock the other gates around the pool. My opinion that is a Safety Hazard. Let??s not forget the Radio. Or your cell phone playing music on a Boss. Freaking Nina the Apt. Manager does not want any music being played at the pool. Well if your reading this, Are your related to Reverend Shaw Morre from Footloose? Get a life!! The music is not bothering anyone! Don??t let the ladies in the front office fool you with their smile. NPL is a great location but rent keeps going up, maybe that??s at every apt. complex but If I renew I??ll be paying $1,360.00 (that??s with water and trash included.) But why would I renew when they took all the fun out of the place & you are very limited for visitors to park cause the last thing you want is your friends/family members to get towed.

Parking is a nightmare. For residents, you have to drive around forever to find a partking place. Forget having visitors come. There is a handful of visitor parking and the rest is outside the gate in a sketchy alley, and there are only a handful of spots there too.

Its located right behind Awty Internation School's track field so in the evenings you hear the speakers blasting announcements & game updates.

The staff are a bunch of morons - they messed up our move in date and so our carpets weren't cleaned properly.

Recently, parking rules were changed which were not made clear to any of the residents and we had visitors parked on unmarked curbs and they were towed. After calling the office, everyone we spoke to was extremely rude and unhelpful.

The place may look nice and it has great amenities like trash valet etc., but its still run by unfriendly idiots.

The apt is nice, amentities are nice, location is good. However, the apt complex is poorly managed. Need new management!!!\r\nParking is terrible for guest. The guest parking lot is located outside of the complex and break-ins do occur. Security is poor. Need new management!!!\r\nAt this point-in-time, I would chose elsewhere. However, if stronger management came in and beefed up security, this place could be much better.

Let's face it, things are going to happen at any complex- it's multifamily housing. What sets places apart is the service- so let me warn you that the service at North Post Oak does not exist. They pretend the place is paradise while showing you around, only to find out is Hades living here.\n-Break-Ins Regularly\n-PARKING NIGHTMARE- so poorly planned they had to add spaces outside of the complex...remember break-ins anyone?\n-Pool area is shared without around 300 units- like a drunken college frat party with people smoking and drinking IN THE POOL...every weekend, no one to clean up\n-Maintenance idea of notice before entering your apartment is leaving a note the morning they're coming in\n-I hear everything the neighbors do- YES even sexy time \n- DO NOT SHIP ANYTHING- I have had packages mysteriously disappear from the office and according to post office- many others have too\n-MANY MANY other problems but don't want to be singled out for our remaining months of torment

This is a good place to live, nice atmosphere, nice pool and gym; howevver... there are break-ins so often it is getting ridiculous. \r\nThere are security guards, but somehow people are still getting in the complex and breaking into apartments almost twice a month. \r\nThe administration doesn't seem to be very impressed, and say that it is the tenants' responsibility to get alarm systems set up. Yes, but who is letting these guys in? \r\nThink about it twice before you move in here.
