Gypsy Heaven has been in New Hope for two decades. They recently updated and re-opened their store. It's run by a 3rd degree High Priestess. They sell numerous items for rituals such as candles, oils, incense, herbs, altar pieces, ritual clothing, stones, crystals, statues etc. They also sell a wide range of books, cds, jewelry and other items.

They do tarot readings on site or over the phone. They now have a website where you can order supplies. Just be sure to check their refund policy as there are several items they will not take back and they only issue store credit on others.

They offer a variety of classes as well as ways to meet with other Wiccans and pagans.

The store itself is small and easily crowded. It's hard to get through without bumping into someone or something. However, that is true of 99.9% of the stores within New Hope. The items are priced reasonably well and the selection is good. A lot of their items are handmade and they say their herbs are packed fresh everyday. Most staff is friendly, but I have encountered a few clerks with a snotty attitude. Compared to another New Hope witch staple, Mystical Tymes, this is one of the more unfriendly witch stores. Still, my overall experience here has been positive.

NOTE: This is not a place for Satanism or wannabe satan worshippers. They do not carry supplies, offer advice or have anything to do with the worship of satan or other forms of black magic. For that, you'll need to visit Hot Topic or Spencers. What is sold here is for positive/white magick and the worship of the Goddess/God and Mother Earth.
