I never thought that I'd eat at the Broadmoor, unless it was at an event that someone else had paid for. I really wanted a romantic dinner and decided to try the Summit because I thought it might be less expensive than the other Broadmoor restaurants. We spent $125, not including the tip, and you know what, it was worth it! We were taken care of as soon as we entered the door. For such an expensive place, I thought I would be self-conscious, but the staff were supremely kind and thoughtful. The atmosphere is comfortable. I wanted to to stay all night and dine and talk. Each dish was perfectly delicious. As each item was brought out, I hardly noticed that I finished the last course. I felt like the food had magically appeared and the empty plates disappeared. A beautiful young lady stopped by and asked us how we were enjoying our meal. Just the way she timed her question, her poise, I didn't feel interrupted (like most places), I felt truly cared for. Yes, we had dessert. No we didn't have any alcoholic type drinks. If you really want to be pampered and treated, try dining at the Summit.
