When looking for apartments we ran across these. At that time management was friendly and helpful. The apartments look good, but it's cheap construction.

I am amazed to see any bad reviews, I am a current resident and I love this complex. People are really upset that rent is due on the 1st? And that they are expected to read and stick to their leases? REALLY?

The office staff is great

At the signing of our lease, we thought we were walking into the deal of the year. San Moritz had a military discount, the place was beautiful with granite counter tops, and the staff was almost overwhelmingly helpful. However, just as

Make sure you know exactly what's in your contract. We have lived here for two years and we just found out that our first year lease was for 13 months, not 12. Yes, our fault for not reviewing the contract closely. We trusted them when

I've never lived there, but the units are beautiful. That being said, I would still never rent an apartment from the arrogant sales staff. The way that the women treated me, you would think that I was a bum checking into the Waldorf

Don't even think about dealing with Wasatch Property Management?? - ?? - 2010-08-27
Just called to find out why my deposit check was never sent out and was told that they couldn't talk to me because it was sent to a collection agency, Knight Adjustment Bureau. They refused to tell me ANYTHING about why they would have done so, balance owed etc. I paid them fully for rent and left the apartment in immaculate condition so there is no reason for this. I called Knight and they had NO record of me either by name or Social Security #. What a joke. The property manager Ricki was ridiculously rude and refused to help at all.

As an aside I was in a fully furnished apartment because of a short-term stay in Salt Lake. The finish and build quality for one of their "model" units was incredibly poor. I can't imagine what the non "model" units looked like.

Finally, beware Wasatch Property Management. My friend used to have an apartment at Palladio apartments. He had huge problems including a water main that broke and flooded his apartment. Wasatch owns Palladio and San Moritz and did nothing to make it right for him. I wished I would have put it together that Wasatch was the owner before I stayed at San Moritz because I wouldn't have had I known.

I signed my lease before my apartment was ready. Three days before I was supposed to move in I called to make sure everything was okay. They said it wasn't ready, I didn't even get a phone call . So I was expected to be homeless with no notice.-I should have known from this that the rest of my experience would be HELL. I was robbed twice while I lived there--the management team said it wasn't there problem on both counts and made me feel completely STUPID for calling them and telling my situation. They also took out money from my bank account on more than one account without telling me which messed up my finances and refused to work with me. San Moritz claims to be top notch, but they are cheap over priced apartments with the worst staff on the planet.

Pros: None.

In my humble opinion, San Moritz, managed by Wasatch Property Management, spends a significant amount of money on advertising, offering lease signing gifts, flexible leases, and free rental periods to lure in tenants to what they call ??Up Scale Living?. I felt the walls were painted too dark, there??s poor lighting, and due to design (dead space between ceilings and floors) the noise from our neighbors above was over whelming. Parking is poor. Many tenants are parking along the street outside of the community. After our lease was negotiated and just prior to moving in, the manager requested an additional $200.00 per month because we??d signed a 3 month lease (flexible lease). She then switched me from the apartment I was shown to what was described as a ??less desirable unit?. More than 30 days after I provided notice to move out, after paying the final rent and utilities as calculated by the management staff, I received a letter showing recalculations and new fees that eat up a portion of my security deposit. If I had it to do over I would have rented a home which would have cost me far less money and would have been better for me and my family.

Pros: New Units

Cons: Building design allows for too much noise...
