My mom got 'kidnapped' by this company's taxi driver today. She moved from Seattle to LA and was bringing her cat with her in a cat carrier from the airport to her new home. The driver shoved the cat IN THE TRUNK!!! and ignored my mom's protest. She told him to give her back her things, that she'd take another cab and he wouldn't... he claimed he'd already punched in some code into his system that supposedly precluded him from letting her go.\tShe was furious and felt like she was being held hostage because her cat and luggage were in the trunk. He treated her **terribly**. She kept insisting as he pulled away that she wanted to be let off to get another cab and wanted her cat out of that trunk. He ignored her and of course pretended or really was unable to relate to her in english. She was hopping mad and told him all the way to the house how angry she was. She scolded him when he let her off. He was GREEDY and just wanted her as a fare, but completely disregarded her wishes. He ILLEGALLY HELD HER CAPTIVE despite the fact that she was insisting over and over that she wanted to have her things back and be let out of that car.\t HORRIBLE HORRIBLE COMPANY. The guy should go to jail for holding her against her wishes. DONT USE THESE PEOPLE, EVER. I hope they go out of business.

was picked up this evening and delivered to my destination this evening without issue; in fact, the russian gentleman who picked me up was extremely nice......however, upon my return trip, there was a huge issue.....i flagged down cab #1118 at santa monica blvd near palm in west hollywood around 10:15pm this evening......when he dropped me off at santa monica and crescent heights around 10:30pm, he (a guy from india) cleared out the meter very quickly, hoping i wouldnt notice that it said $5.55 and he asked for $6.75 instead.....i gave him a $20 bill and said fine, give me change for $6.75 and he asked how much i was going to tip him too so he knew i much change to give me.....i told him i wanted it all back and he was upset that i caught him in this lie.....he gave me all but a quarter and after i exited his car, i realized that my blackberry had fallen out of my pocket in the back seat and tried to flag him down to get it back, but he practically ran me over because he was upset that i caught him in his lie......upon calling the company numerous times and being promised a call back, i've not received one.....PLUS, i email link on the website doesn't work.......i can identify this man and told the operators that if he gave it back, i wouldnt take this issue any further, but i've not heard back...... if this matter in not resolved quickly, i will take it to the taxi comission, west hollywood city hall and i'll wage a war on the internet....YOUR employee tried to scam me and i will not take it lying down....again, if he chooses to return the blackberry, i will drop the whole issue like it never happened.....he knows what he's done and probably has done to countless people and i can pick him out in a line-up.....i will also file a police report as this is a company phone......as you can tell, i'm furious with what took place tonight.....this has NEVER been my experience with any other cab company.....further, if this is not resolved in a timely manner, i will take legal action.....i don't prefer to take this route, but they may not leave me with any other option

Yeah i will agree with the poster below me. This company needs to monitor their drivers more closely. Another rigged meter cab company (along with Checker Cabs).

When I lived in Hollywood I called them all the time, because I got off late, and they were always late. I remember on time I got off at 1am, and I called them at 12:30. I could of walked home faster, because they didn't pick me up until 3am. and they didn't pick me up, they called in another company to pick me up.
