Never ever ever go to this place. I dropped off my tv 5-5 for repair. I was told it would cost over 200.00 for the repair. ( you can but a new one for $175.00) But I said ok, they said it would be ready in a week. I called back in a week

A++ service. TV needed additional parts and time for repair. Nathan was very helpful when I called to get updates on the status. Due to the duration of the repair, Nathan did not charge extra money for the additional parts needed...$80

I had gone to the "geeks" and they were unable to repair my 52" tv. They actually referred me to this place! Well, two weeks later and they were right. My tv is working great and I just had to wait about a week for some part to be shipped. I was without my big tv for so long, I was happy to get it back. It was a lot cheaper to repair than I had expected! I was initially hesitant because of some of the bad reviews on here, but there were some great ones and I did trust the opinion of the "geeks" more so than other people's reviews. I had to come back to let everyone know about my experience.

We bought a $2,000 Panasonic 52" TV 2 years ago. Three months ago, the TV had "overheated" and did not work. We called Brandon TV Repair and they came and picked it up. They have had our 52" Panasonic TV for 3 months now. They said the bill would be $500 to fix our TV. We pre-paid them with a check (which they cashed). After 2 weeks, they claim the part came in broken and had to request another one. We called at least once a week for the next 2 months and they gave us the same story "we're waiting for the part". After 2 months, they finally gave us a junker Vizio for a "loaner". After 3 weeks, that also died. Now they have our Panasonic, the cashed $500 check, and the loaner Vizio. Now they claim that we "traded" our Panasonic and they've already "Scrapped it". They claim the $500 was toward the Vizio. Now we have no TV, our $2,000 Panasonic is scrapped, and they cashed the check, and now the Vizio is broken (also in their shop to be "fixed"). After calling them today to find out about the TV, the owner, Nathan, yelled at me and hung up on me and refuses to answer the phone or any more questions about either of the TV's. THEY ARE THIEVES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I didn't even want to rate them, they are so bad. BEWARE!!!!!! The Better Business Bureau (BBB) is definitely going to hear about this!!!!!

Well let's see where to start on the unprofessional service I've received....The TV was dropped off with Nathan who advised he'd know what was wrong in about a day and a half. In good faith we paid an $85 nonrefundable deposit...we have never recieved a call from them since. We have had to call them several times over the past MONTH. They have no idea what's wrong, they have no idea when the part will be in, they have no idea who much it will cost. Our TV is in pieces so we can't even pick it up. Nathan's eldery employee talks over people, puts everything off on to Nathan, and is rude to say the least. I've contacted the BBB and every agency I can in an effort to get satisfaction. Take your repair business anywhere but there, the local preschool could do a better job, just don't take it to Nathan at Brandon TV and Elec!!!

I'm 63 years old and like some people my age I fail to know how to use some of this new technology that's out there. I brought in my 42" plasma and felt as if it were a gonner! I had sound but no picture. I called several shops and these folks were the only ones who sounded as if they understood what I was saying to them. Perhaps the other folks I called were just bad listeners. I brought in the plasma and payed a small deposit. To my surprise they called me back and said they could fix the set and have it back to me in two days. Nathan the manager even offered to have it delivered free of charge because of the difficulty I expressed to him about the moving of the plasma. I would recommend them to any one. Great price and and great service. THAN YOU BRANDON TV. :)

Computer was hijacked with a worm and could not even get into safe mode. I see this place while driving to work everyday. Never thought to stop for computer repair because it said tv but decided to stop on way to work one day to see if they knew of someone local they would trust to do computer repair at a reasonable rate. I was advised they did repair computers. I was pleased when the manager said they could take care of for me. Called me by lunch and said it would be ready to pickup the next morning. Boy was I happy! Have not had any problems since I picked it up in June and it seems twice as fast as before I had it! Like I mentioned in Cons, it is not the prettiest place, but I believe it is because they are affordable!

I tried replacing the lamp in my dlp tv and to my dismay it wouldn't work. I had a major department store technician tell me it needed a "light engine?"Brandon Tv picked the unit up from my house and by the end of the day determined it was my "colorwheel". They had the part in-stock and had my tv back to me the next day. My kids were so happy to get 'their" big tv back. One day and already the 25" from my bedroom was on every ones nerves. Thanks for the great service Nathan. I couldn't entertain the kids any longer. You guys saved the day. Maybe even the summer stay-cation.

An old TV repair shop with old repair shop values.
I dropped off my Large, 200+ pounds, TV.
They helped me unload it. I had no idea what was wrong with it.
In less than 24 hours I was called by the shop owner and to my surprise the repair cost was much less than I figured that it would cost. It was ready for pick up 24 hours later. This time the shop loaded the TV for me.
The shop may not be pretty but the service was quick and friendly.
If I have any further TV issues, I will be returning to this shop.

Had to travel a little ways to get to this shop, but after being charged by a home visit tvrepairman to just look at the set and tell me it was an entire board that was needed, I thought to give these guys a shot. A friend had recommended but I did not want to travel that far. I wish I had made the trip earlier. They were able to fix the board instead of just replacing and saved me a lot of money. THANKS!!!

On 4/16/09, I contacted Brandon TV based on suggestions from Warrantec, the warranty company my contract is with. My 50" plasma TV was picked up by Brandon TV on 4/17/09 for repair. About 2 days later I did not hear back so I called and spoke to Nathan who tells me that it could take a while to fix because this warranty company takes a while to settle their claims. I wish that I had asked how long because I just got my TV back on 6/29/09. Working with Nathan was extremely difficult. I don't think he knows what he is doing. I think the reason it took so long was because he never filed a claim nor followed correct procedures with the warranty company. It took me getting involved on 5/29/09 before Nathan sent the invoice over. Nathan was rude to say the least. When I challenged him on the length of time to resolve the issue and what had happened, he yelled at me. He told me that what I was going through was not his problem and that he could careless. Now how can a company continue to be in business whe they treat their customers this way. I definetely learned my lesson NEVER USE BRANDON TV AGAIN. I really wished I would have read the reviews on line before allowing them to pick up my TV. EXTREMELY POOR SERVICE IS THE ANSWER. I really am surprised they are still in business. To maintain customer loyalty I would recommend that the owner of Brandon TV take a closer look at this Nathan. Because of Nathan, Brandon TV is losing many customers. When does it become the customer's fault that there are issues between the warranty company and the local service repair. I HOPE THAT OTHER CUSTOMERS READ THIS WHICH IS THE REAOSON I TOOK THE TIME TO WRITE THIS. I am still shocked by the level of service I received. Wow --- Nathan I hope you fix your attitude. You are costing the owners many customers. Although the TV is fixed today, I have no trust in the work done by Nathan.

We turned in an electronic device to be repaired at Brandon TV. They had it for over two months, and told us they needed to order a power modulator so the system would turn on so they could check it. The part never arrived. They don't return our phone calls. We would call them on a regular basis to get an update on the progress, and no one would return our calls. We asked for them to return our deposit because no work was done on our system. So they refused to return our money. So we took our system home and the unit turned on fine. This is just to let others know that Brandon TV and Computer Repair rips people off!!!!!!!!

We took our laptop here because the hinge of the screen was broken, althought the computer worked perfect! We told them that the computer was under warranty and we just needed them to fill out the form to let the warranty company know that the hinge was broken. When we picked the computer up it was a different computer with ports that were never on our computer before. Also, it was an XP when our copmputer was Vista. On top of that, the computer they said was ours wouldn't even turn on as they said it was fried. During the argument the guy made the comment that we shouldn't care since we were getting a new one from the warranty, but we don't have access to anything that was on the computer...he had the nerve to offer to do a recovery backup to get our info off of it. Of course, he couldn't do that while we were there. My husband is on his way to best buy with our original receipt of purchase so they can prove that things were switched. BEWARE of this hole in the wall!

This company had my 26-inch flat panel LCD tv for 4 weeks for a warranty repair (the TV was only 6 weeks old). When I dropped the TV off, they told me they would look at in a few days. A week later they still hadn't looked at the TV. On the third week they told me that they had a part on order, but didn't know what part. Apparently their business practice doesn't include writing down what they order. I called the manufacturer to see if this was normal and they told me to find out what was ordered and they would find out if the part was on back-order. My fiance called them several times asking what was ordered. He received the same reply each time - We don't know, call back in an hour. One would think that calling back a day later would result in the information being gathered, but NO. Each time he called he was told to call back in an hour. Well, people have jobs and can't spend their day hounding the TV repair facility for simple information that they should have available. My fiance (he told them he was my husband), told them to either call him with the information or put the tv in the box and we'll pick it up. Well, probably not the best thing to do, because they decided to box it up instead of getting the information to us so we could follow through with the manufacturer. This company has no idea what customer service is. Amusingly, when I called to see what they had done with the TV, they were able to tell me that they cancelled the order for the part and that it cost $400, why then couldn't they give us the information any of the other times we called? Besides the complete lack of customer regard, the place is a dump and I was afraid to walk in the door. Save yourself a hassle and do not go there.

Follow up: They finally did fix my TV. In total, they had itTV for 3 months, but it is fixed now and I have had no further problems with it.
