These are timeshare condominums. Beautiful grounds and pools, tennis. Conveniently located near grocery shopping and the bustling main strip of kona coast Alli way. Turtle beach and restaurants. Iron man during october, people train and you could see people swimming across the coast as you sit on the beach. Bike riding guided tours though not safe for children, kona coffee plantation tours. drive to volcano park and walk on solid lava. see fingers of lava climbin down mountain at night. unfortuneately, we've never been able to see lava up close or at the point where it enters the ocean. The vista point they built is often closed because of dangerous vapors. We drove on the east side looking for that look out and ended up on a 2 lane road that dropped us on a beach of cooled lava that was older than the part most people travel on the western chain of craters rd from the vistors center of the volcano park. On the east side we were the only ones around except for some people who lived in nearby condos. The black lava had been ground down into black sand and coconuts were strewn all over with baby palm trees sprouting out of them. A surreal scene of black sand beach with palm trees all over the place but not anchored to the ground just floating on top of the sand and connected to the split hull of a coconut. The birth of a forest of palm trees and the beginnings of new real land that was once molten lava pouring into the ocean. Can't beat it. It was a long drive along this unbeaten path and a bit scary trying to get out to the main road again.

condos were wonderfully remodeled. another unit we rented was not and was actually old furniture and beds that were too soft.

But the layout was spacious in both condos. remodeled unit had marble baths and 2 bedrooms. large living room/dining room and kitchen.
