I have been seeing dermatologists for the last 30 years since I had teenage acne. I have had dermatologists in San Francisco and Austin. Dr. Martinez is the best one I've seen in Austin. She is very thorough, professional, and iconveys friendliness also. She is always able to provide knowedgeable answers to any questions I have regarding new research, procedures, and the products I use. I get terrific BOTOX treatments from her, along with prescriptions and info on OTC products to reduce signs of skin aging. Her staff is very friendly and helpful.

Dr. Martinez is a very knowledgeable doctor with a caring personality. I recommend very few people but would not hesitate to send friends or family to see her.

The day of my appointment I had car trouble and was unable to make it. I called about two hours prior to the appointment to explain the situation and they said that was fine and to call back to reschedule. Two days later I recieved a bill in the mail for $25 for a "missed appointment fee". Thinking that was a little ridiculous given the circumstances I called the office for an explanation. They didn't seem to care and just said that was their policy and there wasn't anything they could do. I'll pay their measly $25 "missed appointment fee" but I will not be back. I guess they really need the money.....

Dr. Martinez promptly diagnosed skin cancer in my husband and a business associate. She didn't hesitate to make the tough call and immediately referred them out to the best surgeon in town. If you have any concerns about skin cancer--run don't walk to Dr. Martinez. I see her for more cosmetic reasons and I am extremely pleased with the results.

Pros: quality care, decisive, no delay

Dr. Martinez is a nice physician, but her botox treatments are not very effective. Having to pay in advance for a session even if you are a patients seems greedy to say the least. I have had botox at another location off Bee Caves and it lasted longer and took effect much sooner. Plus, the phsician did the procedure and he didint have me pay in advance. I noticed that the other doctor was more experienced. She is a great dermatologist for skin cancers.

Pros: nice physician, knows skin cancer

Cons: expensive, botox weak, closed during summer
