To be certain, the best way to eat at Fujiya is at the sushi bar. Service at the tables can be spotty, and you just won't get to watch them work. If you hav e a large party call in ahead so they will be prepared...but the best experience

Used to be a regular. Last time I went there, we sat for 40 minutes and received absolutely no service. During that time, two waitresses came over and asked if we had been waited on. We said 'No'. They left. Still, nobody came. We

In every restaurant there are hits and misses. Sometimes you need to know what to order to enjoy the best side while avoiding the other one.\r
The best thing in Fujiya are the rolls. They have a huge selection of rolls, starting with cheap

Established over thirty years ago, the Wester family (Japanese-American) paved the way for Japanese cuisine in San Antonio. "Mama" Wester's spirit and legendary homestyle japanese cooking has kept multiple generations of regular customers

Pros: Totemo Oishii desu! practice your japanese skills, kimonos, good prices for EXCELLENT SUSHI

Cons: sushi may take a while if the restaurant is busy, but GOOD SUSHI is ALWAYS WORTH THE WAIT!

.

I've eaten sushi all over the country and a bit in Canada. This rivals the best. The atmosphere is more old school, but you cannot beat the product... and the prices are reasonable as well.

Good enough for what passes for Japanese food in Texas. Much of San Antonio's dining out consists of enless numbers of franchised eateries, so I wanted something privately owned. In this case, there appears to be no much difference

Fujiya has been around since I have been eating sushi - a long time. Nothing has changed at the restaurant, but much has changed about sushi restaurants. The sushi is good, but there is no pizazz. Another day at the office is not what you want when you spring for sushi prices.

I travel all over the US and make a cognitive effort to try the best sushi from each visited city; including cities that you would think would have incredible sushi - Miami FL, Los Angeles CA, Houston TX, etc. Fujiya is without a doubt

This place is awesome. I am a transplanted California sushi snob, but this compares with the best of them. Great ambiance, excellent service, and high quality sushi.
