Both my kids attend classes here. The instructors make it fun while teaching them new techniques for their age levels. The gym is by far the cleanest we visited. Has the mat smell but not horrible (I smelled worse at other gyms.) For little ones, we like going in the morning while the gym is quieter and the big kids are still in school.

When I was looking for a gymnastics program for my two boys (4yrs and 6yrs), we took trial classes at several local gymnasiums.

OGA is where we ended up, for many reasons....First and most importantly, the instructors are *great*. They have very little turnover in staff, so my kids have had the same instructors for the six months. The instructors are encouraging, but also know how to deal with kids who are not behaving.

The gym itself is by far the cleanest place we went to. Yes, it smells a bit 'gym-y', but everything is kept very clean and tidy. The equipment doesn't feel grimy or gross. The bathrooms are clean, too. The whole upstairs is one big viewing area which provides a nice place to sit and watch my kids. There's a nice, basic snack bar for after-lesson munchies.

My kids have really enjoyed their lessons so far, and I feel they are definitely getting more confident in their athletic ability. One thing I liked about OGA was their boys' program seems just as important to the staff as the girls' program. Some of the other gyms we visited seemed to treat the boys' programs as an afterthought- having less qualified instructors, or scheduling the lessons at inconvenient times. This doesn't happen at OGA!

The monthly cost is pretty much in line with other local gyms- approx $40-70 month depending on how many lessons your child takes and which level of instruction he or she requires. They also have Mommy and Me classes, as well as preschooler classes.

I would recommend OGA for anyone looking for a quality gymnastics program for their child.

Academy of Olympic Gymnastics has gymnastics for kids from preschool to Olympic level gymansts. The coaches are very well trained and are always concerned about the children's safety. The equipment is top-of-the-line and is sterilized and cleaned, especially for the preschoolers. The goal is to keep the gymnasts in motion during their classes so that the parents do not feel they are wasting their money, and the students get the full advantage of their class.
