I was amazed at the service i received when i went to Village Auto. I had just a few problems needing to be fixed. They took care o fit fast and at a fair and reasonable price. In fact they didn't try to sell me stuff i didn't need, like some auto shops do.

I have had my car at several shops and it seems every one wants to just put parts on. I had a check engine light on, the first shop told me it needed a O2 sensor. The light came back on so I brought it back and they "wanted to try another part called a Mass flow sensor". I went and got another look at it, this shop thought it might be a computer. Thought? I want to know if it needs one so I took my car. A person I work with said he was happy with Village so I brought the car to them. They took a look and asked me if I had a new thermostat installed. I said yes and they SHOWED me the broken wires that were by the thermostat. No parts needed, just a repair of some wires. The best 2 things, it fixed the car and they Showed me what was wrong. I will be back, nice people to deal with.

I would definitely recommend not going to Village Automotive. They seem very nice at first because they know they are taking your money for unnecessary parts. I, being a girl, don't know a ton about cars. When I told my guy friends what I was being charged, they called Village Automotive and had them stop working on my car immediately because I was being WAY overcharged. When asked about the charges, they quoted us 3 different prices on the same part, trying to explain where the other charges came from. When I tried to pick up the car, they charged me an outrageous price without being able to tell me what I was being charged for. The manager was reasonable about it, but he got the owner who immediately began yelling at me. He didn't bother asking me what the problem was, he just came out of the shop yelling. I was appaled that he would even raise his voice without asking what the problem was.I ended up taking the car to another shop where they charged me half the price and never yelled
