I have been taking our cats and rats to this office for over ten years now, and they just keep getting better. They take time with every client, ask questions and really LISTEN. And their prices are the best in the area - with this clinic, you can easily believe that the animal's health is their focus, not the money they can con you out of.
Dr. Pulins is, hands down, a hero in our family. We keep pet rats, and I could not have hoped for a better or more knowledgeable vet for them. He knows all of the possible health issues they can have, and how to treat them. He knows the different medications for adult vs. young rats, and has performed surgeries to remove tumors, to spay our girls, and was even there with us when we had to put our favorite ratty to sleep, and spent as much time with us as he would have for a beloved pet dog.
Moreover, in one case I panicked and ended up taking a sick rat to another vet in Plainfield. Not only did the doctor need to be TOLD the problem, he then charged us $120 MORE than we would have paid with Dr. Pulins, and that included a tube of eye ointment that was completely unnecessary.
Don't go anywhere else. All of the staff and Doctors here are wonderful, the price is right, and they really care.

I have been taking my cat here for years. The staff is extremely friendly, the Vet care very professional. I can't think of another place I would want to entrust my cat to.

We've been taking our animals to the Romeoville Animal Clinic since 1978 when we moved to Romeoville and have nothing but the absolute best to say about the wonderful people of the Animal Clinic of Romeoville; doctors as well as the support staff. Our animals have been treated with all of the love and care that could have been given to their own animals. We love you all. Thanks for everything - and of course, see you soon.

We have been taking our cats to this clinic for about thirty years, and have always been treated with respect and professionalism, from Dr. Lindberg's time to the present, with Drs. Mike and Amy. We find that every case brought to the staff is individually assessed, and the pet owner's input is valued even in those most difficult cases or decisions. They are never in too much of a hurry to listen to the whole story and to consult or advise. The entire staff treat our pets as members of our family, with professionalism and compassion.
What makes this practice different from some others I have visited is that they take time to explain and do not impose a treatment without the client being fully on board.
We have had our share of miracles and sadness, but have always felt we have been in good hands and have shared the best quality of life possible with our pets. Recently, within the last 6 months, we have had two miracles of healing, one serious physical emergency and the other a come-back from emotional trauma. Thank you!

Last week I noticed at home my newly addition to my family was not doing so well. I recently adopted a orange and white kitten named Piglet. Usually he is always bouncy, playful and sweet. When I came home from work, he always meets me at the door with a adorable meow. Until one day I came home and found him just laying curled up in a ball. I knew something was not right. I got in my car and took Piglet to the Animal Clinic of Romeoville. There I found out that my precious kitten had a temperature of 106 degrees. The veterinarian told me that this is a dangerous temperature for a kitten. The normal temperature should be between 100.5 to 102.5. I found out my poor kitten was sick. I could do nothing but leave my kitten in the care of the clinic. I came and visited him everyday and told him to just hang on that he was going to get better. Even though he was sick, he would still meow at me and want to be held constantly. He had to stay in the hospital for over a week on fluid support and fed by hand. He was in terrible shape. We found out that he had Calicivirus, which is a form of an upper respiratory virus. Which usually happens when kittens are not vaccinated. I found Piglet outside and adopted him into my family. It did not occur to me that he came down with this while living out in the environment. He was already five months old and it was to late to vaccinate him to prevent this virus from happening. My poor kitten had to ride it out and be strong because usually when kittens get to this condition most of the time they do not make it. It took some time but when I got the call and found out that his temperature went down to 101 degrees. I mentally did cartwheels in my head. My kitten was on the road to recovery. Now when he was well enough to go home, he got vaccinated so in the furture there would not be another episode of this virus to every come back again. I am enternally greatful to the staff at the Animal Clinic of Romeoville and also to the veterinarians that gave my Piglet a chance at life, and thus saved his life in general. I would definately recommend this clinic to anyone. This clinic is compassionate and is there for you when you need assistance. Piglet can vouch that one for me. Because right now I am glad to have him back to his normal, playful, kitten self.

Every cat I've owned since he opened his office has seen Dr. Lindberg, or more recently Dr. Laura, or Dr. Heather. When I lived in Chicago, I drove out to see him, now I live in Kendall County and still make the trip. There's no one else I trust with my animals care than the people in this place!\r
\r
Sometimes you'll wait, but if so, you understand the minute the Doctor walks into the room with you and your pet. They take their time to make animals comfortable, to explain everything you want to know and answer every question. \r
\r
I can't say enough here, only that I recommend this office to anyone with a pet they care about.

I have four dogs, who have all at one time or another, been patient's at Dr. Lindberg's office. Along with Doc, he has 3 other vets in his office, which I can't say enough positive things about. We are like family. Everyone knows me and all the dogs by name. They office staff/doctors are very caring, down to earth people. The prices are very reasonable. Actually the best prices I have ever encountered, especially for the personal service you received. They are very flexible about payment as well. \r
\r
I would have to say that one of my most traumatic experiences was when two of my pups got in a fight, and my Jack Russell, Jessie, ended up with a broken leg. When she was brought in, they immediately took her in for emergency surgery. She came home a few days later. With all of the other dogs at home, she was not resting properly. Dr. Lindberg offered to keep her at the office, in hopes her leg would heal quicker. Doc let Jessie stay at his clinic for over a month (free of charge) in order to rest. They fed her the best food and the staff took care of her as if she was there own. The let me come visit every day, and I never felt as though I was a bother. \r
\r
All of my pups go to the clinic for all routine visits and all emergencies (if they arise). I can't tell you what great people they are. I would highly reccomend the Animal Clinic of Romeoville to anyone that lives in the area, and to those who wouldn't mind a drive if they don't live in town. Two thumbs up!

Pros: GREAT SERVICE, LOVING EMPLOYEES, GREAT PRICES

Cons: Sometimes a wait, but be patient, they may be handling an emergency and/or saving a life!

.

Dr. Connie and Dr. Lindberg helped us out. I scouted the place to see if I should recommend it to my clients... I brought my own dogs there on a few different occassions. I found though the wait was long (it WAS a Saturday morning) it was well worth it. The doctor's were knowledgeable and willing to answer my questions. \r
\r
They were busy the first time, and I did feel a bit processed once I got into the room, but Dr. Connie still did answer my questions and explained the positives and negatives of the raw diet. (A specific question I tend to ask all the vets to see their answers.)\r
\r
I liked the clinic and I highly recommend them for myself and my dog owning clients.
