I love this Vet hospital!! I have been going here for 15 yrs and all of my pets are very well cared for! I have seen many of the Veterinarians there and they all are compassionate and obvious animal lovers!! I have used the boarding area as well and find it to be clean and the staff very detail oriented! When I come in for a visit the staff up in the front are nice and friendly...I could not imagine going any place else...this vet hospital has been there for me through so much and because of them my pets are happy and healthy!!!

I recently completed a 2-week externship as a veterinary student at University Animal Hospital in Tempe and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this hospital! The clinic has state-of-the-art equipment and they are very up-to-date on how they approach and practice medicine. The 11-doctor practice has everything that I hope to find in where I will eventually work and is the epitome of where I would take my animals (in fact, it is very reminiscent of the clinic I take my pets to at home in Minnesota). Everyone is incredibly friendly, kind, and knowledgeable. The doctors work as a team and in the best interest of their patients by discussing their cases with each other, whether they would like an additional perspective or would simply like to share what they learned.
The hospital is immaculately clean, well cared for, and employs only those individuals who obviously love animals and their job. I was thrilled to see everyone doing their specific job to their utmost capability, which helps create a highly efficient, well-oiled ??machine?? where everyone can focus on and excel in their field. Everyone at University Animal Hospital works very well together as a team and invited me in to their ??family?? immediately. I would highly recommend this hospital to anyone searching for the right place to care for his or her furry (or scaly) non-human family members!

Absolutely the best Veterinary practice I've ever experienced!

I have recently boarded my puppy here at UAH! Such a great service. I am very impressed with the wonderful care they gave my dog, I would definitely use them again in the future.

UAH is wonderful. I came here last week to get shots for my puppy! I really loved the facilities, staff and vets. I will definitely be bringing my dogs here from now on.

University Animal Hospital is always my number one choice when it comes to vets. Here they actually care about your animal, unlike some of the other clinics I've been to. I can rely on UAH to treat my puppy as if it were their own.

Missy loves going to the doctors at University and we also have used the grooming and boarding services; all top notch!

They did such a great job with my cat. She got sick and they were able to diagnose her very quickly, and prescribe her the right medicine to get well. I was very pleased with their work.

The receptionist is always smiling and welcoming at all times of the day. They are always helpful too. They are not grumpy at you or refer you someone else. If it's not in their department they will go out of there way to get your questions answer and I truly thank you for that.

For almost 20 years I have taken my own dogs and our rescue dogs to University Animal Hospital and I would not take them anywhere else. From the receptionists to the nurses, doctors, groomers and kennel staff, everyone is professional, courteous, competent and caring. The well-being of very pet is important. Boarding our rescue dogs is not just boarding. It is a transition and learning process for them.

The veterinary care is exceptional. I know that all of our dogs are getting the best care possible from professionals with years and years of combined experience and expertise. What impresses me most about UAH is that the employees are a real team. They all give at least 100 percent and it is obvious that they love what they do.

The desk staff is very friendly and competent. I am always greeted warmly as soon as I walk through the front door. Andrea, my groomer is wonderful! And Dr. Gus is so genuine and caring. I know I always get the best care and treatments. The other vets I have seen here are also very nice too. I recommend this animal hospital to everyone I know.

The facilities are always clean and both myself and our doggies are greeted by the friendly members of the University Animal Hospital team each time we visit. The doctors are the Best in the Veterinary business. They have a genuine compassion about our pets and their healthcare. We have enjoyed raising 5 puppies starting off their great care with the Puppy Plan at the Hospital. They have received the highest level of care throughout their years and healthy long lives being managed by the doctors at University Animal Hospital. They have overseen our pet's care during crisis situations. Dr. Gus waited for us at 10:30 pm one evening when our German Shephard was struck by a car and fully recovered from his injuries thanks to his care. Dr. Flegeneheimer assisted our Lab through a serious bout of pneumonia with tender loving care. We have had to put 3 of our dogs down after the battle of old age. The compassion and caring they showed us during this period was amazing - even giving us a small clay footprint as a keepsake. The medical service and customer service is outstanding. I must be fair and say that UVH is very thorough. They leave no stone un-turned when it comes to your pet's health. \r

The problem is, they make it seem like every test and procedure is absolutely necessary, when it clearly is not! They charged me for X-Rays on a pet with external trauma! I can confirm what the person before me had to say about the gauntlet of charges they hit you with on the way out of there! They operate just like a sleazy car dealership by keeping you cooped up in the exam room for a very long time. They wear you down until you will pay anything just to leave! \r

I have only high praises for this outstanding facility, and in my opinion, whether my pets are being seen for their yearly exams or facing a medical emergency, UVH will do everything possible to ensure the best outcome for my pets. UVH offers such a wide variety of specialties so I know what ever may happen with my pets, the very best care will be immediately available. The extended evening and weekend hours give me the flexibility to make an appointment that accommodates my schedule. I have been a client for many years and have had nothing but good experiences at this clinic. Great employees, great doctors, all caring and professional. Especially useful are the reminders that are sent regarding the pets' exams and vaccinations coming up. And they are sent well enough ahead of time so that appointments can be made in a timely manner ensuring that my pets remain healthy and well protected. This is the place to go if you and your pets want to be treated well and get the best veterinary care.

I took my puppy in after making an apointment and printing out the new client form, for a 10% discount.\r
Every single person, DR. ,Vet Tech, Reception were all confused on what their pricing was and how the discount was given. Durning the exam my family was treated as if we were the most uneducated people in the world (we have owned a puppy before)!.. And every attempt to sell microchip, fecal, dental, treats, food, extra vaccines,$300 puppy package plan and a kitten was made. They really wanted to worry us asking if the dog came from the pound, pet store, or other place were doggies get sick. No sale, I got the puppy from a friend, so much for pushing that bordatella shot. Dr. told us $53 for exam and 1st shots total $78. Next time he will need a rabies shot because he is older (4wks) and we will get changed that $53 dollars again for a mandatory exam with rabies shot. It soon became obvious they were not happy with us, we evedently didn't spend enough $ to appear like responsible pet owners. More to come.......

I have ben a long time client and cannot even imagine going to any other vets. My dogs and reptiles get excellent care there. Yje equipment is state of the art and the facility is attractive, bright and open. And by the way, the art work on the walls is awesome!!! The doctors are up on the latest procedures and meds. They take time to explain things thoroughly and are always friendly and caring towards both clientssand their pets. This also goes for the large staff of receptionists, vet techs and kennel techs. Emergencies are handled quickly and efficiently. Owners of pets having had surgery or animals staying at the hospital are kept informed on a continuing basis of the condition of their animlals and the progress that is being made towards good health.\r
The boarding facility is spacious and kept scrupulously clean. It is truly a PET RESORT where pets get loving care.\r
