I had read all the great reviews about Stefani on Yelp so I saw her at this salon about a year ago. At the time, I told her I had just gotten a bad haircut with layers that were too short and how much I wanted to avoid anything like that happening again. She immediately said she thought a lot of layers in my hair was a good thing. I reasserted that I did not want short layers. She did fine that time even though she continued to argue with me about this, and that time she did as I requested but the very next visit, she went ahead and cut short layers even though I had again reinforced that this was not what I wanted. I didn't realize this until I got home and when I did I cried so much! I can still remember that horrible day so well. I couldn't believe I was going through the same thing again even after I'd told her I didn't want that.

A few days later I called their front desk and asked to speak to a manager. I told her what had happened and asked for a refund. She said she couldn't do that but said she would put a gift certificate in the mail to me (which of course would be useless since I would never go back but at least they could have made the effort). A few weeks later the gift certificate hadn't arrived so I called and spoke to her again. She pretty much blew me off and was silent with me on the phone. I was going to write a review about my experience but decided not to. However, I am still growing out the layers as of this date and this is so upsetting on a daily basis (for over a year now) that I had to write this. I also got what I thought was a demi-permanent coloring from Geo - I asked her a number of times if this would wash out (as demi-permanent color is supposed to do) as I wanted to be sure to avoid the catastrophe of unintentional permanent hair coloring which I'd been through with other stylists. Geo assured me the color would wash out. It never did. It was also considerably brassier looking than the sample she showed me. That ugly color is also still growing out and is now down to ear length. Additionally, I told the girl who washed my hair that I didn't want it blown dry because the heat is bad for my hair. She also argued with me and insisted on doing it.

Needless to say, I have looked pretty awful for the past year just because I went to this salon. The experience is something no one should have to go through. Avoid this place like the plague if you don't want to ruin your hair. I have no idea what the good reviews of this place are about. My experience was a nightmare.
