Negative 5 stars would be a more accurate rating! I cant even begin to tell you how horrible of an experience this was!!! I should have known by my many attempts to reach a manager regarding creating a reservation for our party for the 4th of July. I had zero call backs!! I did speak with Priscilla who worked at the restaurant and she was the only decent human at this establishment. She did her best to try and help, but the poor girl can only do so much. Anyhow, the reservation got made for 10 for an outside table. I had been calling this restaurant since May to make sure we get taken care of for the holiday!

The day prior to the reservation, I get a call saying that its a $50 minimum for each guest. They waited till the day before to tell me this?! This is just the beginning. Then I spoke with "Bruce" who said to not worry about it. I assured him we will all order entrees and drinks. He said he would take care of it. He also said he would need to seat us on the cafe patio area because of the size of the party, but we could order from the fine dining menu from the other half of the restaurant.

So, we arrive for dinner, get seated and are given cafe menus. They said that they only have house wine and they served us in plastic cups. Really?! They also said that they do not have a Bruce working at the restaurant. Finally after much demand, they bring us the regular menu, which has tons of wines and a better food selection. It took at least 40 minutes to get appetizers from our very rude waiter. Reservations were at 8pm. It was after 11pm, and we still did not receive our entrees!!!! We had two cups of soup, a tuna poke which was very bland, and cheap wine out of plastic cups. The owner came over, made a couple promises, never fulfilled them, and then disappeared and never came back! We left disappointed, hungry, and pissed off. We couldn't believe it that the waiters sat around drinking wine and dancing in the kitchen instead of getting the food out. Save yourself the misery. If you are in this area, go to Cafe Del Rey. Its upscale with great food and service. This place on the other hand should be shut down!!!!
