I didn't like this treatment. I needed my back cracked. I'm a big guy and this is not the place for me. I don't like her treatment. Not as wordy as the rest of you, but find someone else. I need someone close.

Pros: Got an appt.

Cons: Terrible treatment.

I was also a patient here and I cannot, and will not recommend Dr. Smith. Her treatment did not offer me any relief and she was very rude when I expressed my feelings. I left a negative review for her on another site (after receiving the email asking for good reviews) and received a very confrontational email about my remarks. I stand by everything I said (easy search) and resent that she is attempting to devalue the comments/experiences people had by claiming they are false/fraud or a means of extracting money! When I saw her (Spring 2009), she was in a period of "transition" and her hours were very difficult for anybody with a job. Her system of care, in my opinion, does not work, and I have never experienced any other chiropractor like her. Period. I felt rushed by her and I also felt that selling additional services (primarily nutritional counseling) was more important to her than my back. Like everybody else who has had a negative experience with this doctor, the truth is that had we known ahead of time what kind of care she was really offering, we wouldn't have gone and we would have found someone else. I really like Sierra Madre, too, and I have found some great things here, but sadly, she is not one of them. I also don't think it's professional for a doctor to give themselves five stars and then label another review as false. Just seeing her comments brought everything back to me! Thanks to the internet, people have the opportunity to get more educated and do some research. One person's experience is that and only that. Some people must love her because she's still in business. I'm not one of them and take my experience for what it was - my experience. Additionally, I did exchange emails with some of the other folks who had similar experiences (thanks to the other site), so I guess in that way the negative experience was worth something! I met some cool (and honest) new friends in Sierra Madre. Lastly, be wary when someone tells you they are a "healer." That can mean anything. Great if it's for free...not so great when you are paying for a bunch of nothing!

Pros: None

Cons: See my review

Well, I am no longer loving Michael because we are in the middle of a big divorce and he changed his email account, which is what I had been doing reviews on. That was a picture of him, Dr. T, not me. You never met him, and I am not a fraud! I am still on your mailing list and recently received an email asking for good reviews on another service, which I promptly did. I had totally forgotten about this website until I was searching for something else in Sierra Madre, and up popped one of my other review for another business. I find the fact that you would claim my review as fraud (what are you basing it on? the picture of my ex whom you never met?!) is crazy, or is the fact that you can't imagine giving someone a bad treatment? Let me assure you, and all of the readers out there that I am not a fraud:
You wear surgical scrubs every day. Your chiropractoric method is "non-invasive" - which in your case consists of generalized touching and poking - and I personally (and this is what it is all about - personal experience) did not feel any relief. You use wedges. You mentioned repeatedly that you are a healer and your hands get hot. Yes, your hands did get hot. You have a very expensive and very nice table that is motorized, so one does not have to roll over, sit up or get up. That is very nice. You have decorated your office with a very feminine style and when I saw you, you were beginning to offer massages in a room you built, and offered me a free massage, which I didn't follow up on. You smoke, which seems insane for a chiro, and yes, was one of the reasons I did not return back (and was turned off). You pushed nutritional counseling, and during my session talked about different lectures and other things you would be offering. I could go on and on, but I hardly think I would know any of this had I not been your patient. To just randomly call a review a "fraud" because you don't recognize the picture is low. I WISH I had saved the $$$$, I WISH I had done some research, I WISH I had known that I was going to waste my time. I appreciate that some of your long term clients have appreciated your care, but I didn't like it. I am further turned off by your emails, especially the one asking for positive reviews to offset the negative one you received. Personally, I think that is also low and misuse of your client's contact information. If someone feels motivated to write about your service, then so be it. But to troll for good reviews? Very unprofessional.
I LOVE Sierra Madre! I LOVE the town, the people, the businesses, everything about it! I WISH you had worked out because I live up the street and I think your office is nice. You are not client friendly and your hours are difficult for a working mom. (Actually, I think they are difficult for anyone who works.) After this, I am going to write a review for a chiropractor that I DID get relief from, and hopefully people who are looking for something along the lines of what I needed will go to him.

Pros: Cute pens on the desk

Cons: Never ending emails, bad service

hello; Dr. T here; I have to say I can't get rid of this review, which is fine, except that I never saw this person in my office and have no idea who he is. He is not loving Michael though. I do wish him well but want everyone to realize that not all reviews are real! Be careful!

Pros: Love My work

Cons: Websites that folks can write false reviews on

The woman that greeted me was fantastic and warm, but the chiropractor's treatment was really strange. I have never seen anything like it. I received no relief. She also was very loud, which wasn't the best for a treatment. I would like to save others time and money.
***This is the 3rd time I've tried to leave this review. Not sure what is going on with this system but hopefully this one will get through.
