This place is great... if you enjoy being lied to and dicked around for almost two months. ZERO STARS. I was tasked with dealing with the reupholstering of the conference room chairs at my office. My boss had already decided on Sofa U Love and picked out a fabric. I thought it would be as simple as placing an order, showing the guys what chairs to pick up, and giving them a high five as they delivered them back to us one week later as promised. The problems began when we were unfortunately assigned to work with Betty. She will make up excuses, like her cell phone died (get a car charger) or she had to pick up her daughter (not my problem and not very professional to use your personal life as an excuse for not getting your work done.) Every time I spoke with Betty she gave me the run-around. She promised to call me right back numerous times and never once did so. My boss asked for me to have them reupholster two chairs first so that we could see what the final product looked like. Those turned out fine, no problems at all. When we were waiting for the rest of the chairs, I had to call numerous times daily to see what was going on on why it was taking more than the one week that was promised. She said that since the two chairs had been completed they had other orders come in. Fine. Whatever. Then, after almost two weeks of this back and forth of when we would get the chairs, she finally admits that they LOST THE FABRIC. Why couldn't she just TELL me this so I could have the chairs back while we waited for new fabric to be delivered (which took another 2.5 weeks). After this nonsense, I had them bring the chairs back. This is a business. We have meetings. If the conference room chairs aren't here, it becomes my fault. Her lies and deceit could've cost me my job. Once they got the fabric back in stock, the chairs were picked up on Monday afternoon and delivered to us the very next day. However, we only received 10 of the 12 chairs. When I called Betty to ask her where the other two chairs were, she said she had no idea what I was talking about. I explained to her that we had given them 12, they returned 10, I didn't know why and somebody obviously screwed up. She had me describe the chairs to her, which is just ridiculous because if you have a huge warehouse of furniture, the logical thing to do would be to tag each piece so you know what belongs to who. Not doing so is foolish. Again she promised to call me right back and never did. The next morning I called AGAIN and was told that they did know where the chairs were and we would get them that afternoon or the next day. They did not bring them back that afternoon, so I called again the next morning. After the phone rang for 1 minute and 23 seconds, Betty finally answered and said that we would definitely get the chairs back in the afternoon. She said it was "embarrassing." No apologies at all during this entire process from Betty. The afternoon comes, it's 4:30 and my office, like most offices, closes at 5. I call her and ask where the hell my chairs are. She says she'll call me right back. So I obviously have to call her again at 4:56 and remind her that she was going to call me back. "Oh right, they'll be there tomorrow morning." ARE YOU F*ING KIDDING ME?! But wait...there's more! I get a phone call saying they aren't going to deliver them because THEY DON'T FEEL LIKE IT! I have to wait til Monday. F*** that noise, I'm calling the damn factory. OH HEY THEY'RE USELESS TOO! Shocking. After looking at the work on the ten chairs that they did return, there are parts where the fabric bubbles and frays that could've been snipped or tucked away. The craftsmanship is shoddy at best.

Also, be careful about their invoicing. They don't seem to understand that you can't just pull taxes out of your ass and make up your own rate. Nothing adds up on their invoice. The price of the fabric was listed at $85.90/yard so why are we being charged $89.00? Are you liars AND thieves?

The one reason I didn't physically go down there and start screaming is Janae (I'm not sure if that's spelled correctly but we'll just go with it.) Every time I called, I had my fingers crossed that she would answer. She is much more pleasant to deal with (Betty got defensive and snotty, even though she was clearly at fault, and you really shouldn't be that rude to your customers) and Janae actually kept me updated with how things were going. She apologized profusely every time I called. If you have a gun pointed at your head and are forced to go to Sofa U Love, do yourself a favor and refuse to do business with anyone besides Janae. Otherwise, you'll regret it. Trust me.

Ashley L. must've gotten lucky. Most of the yelp reviews will tell you how much this place blows. Betty is a dick.

I researched sofas for a long time before I bought one. I walked into countless showrooms, spent hours online, and talked to all my friends in hopes of finding my perfect sofa. In the end it was Sofa U Love, and I do I love my sofa. : ) Betty was very helpful and friendly. She spoke with me on three different occasions before I finally came in with my husband to buy and every time she was kind, helpful, happy, and really new her sofas. Its worth every penny.
