the staff is among the friendliest i have encountered in a long time. i go here every wednesday for their lunch buffet, but recently started going after work for their happy hour, which is truly delightful. i am always seated promptly and attended to by a very competent waitstaff. the best part about going for dinner is the bean dip they serve with their chips and salsa (only served at dinnertime apparently). everytime i go the restaurant is packed to the gills with seemingly happy customers, which (as my father says) is always the truest comment about any restaurant. the enchiladas (cheese and chicken) are delicious, as well as the macho burritto, and bbq ribs at the buffet. this place also has the best margaritas... lets just say they arent shy with their tequila. bon apetit.
Pros: delightfuly fun staff
Cons: metered parking
Poor Service! We waited for 20 minutes f or service. Waiter took too long, she was rude and useless. It was just terrrible.
Pros: Good Parking
Cons: Service

Pros: FAST PARKING AREA
Cons: ONLY 2 HOURS VALIDATIONS
I had an amazing experience at Don Cucos. The food and drinks were delicious. I am definitely going back and I recommend it to anyone who loves Mexican.
I went to Don Cuco's in Glendale and had the best meal I have had in a long time. The food was fabulous and the service was great! The food was not only delicious, but I was served a good size portion. It is a beautiful restaurant full of atmosphere. I am looking forward to going back very soon.
It's not moms home cooking, but close enough!! I loved the decore, it made me feel like I was south of the border. Go for the buffet, you'll not go home hungry. Competitive pricing, even if you are on a budget.
Go for the food, and stay for the atmosphere. I give it a high five.
I ate at Don Cuco's and had their lunch buffet. There was so much good food to choose from. The restaurant is beautiful. A very relaxing place to eat and enjoy delicious food. Beautifuly decorated. Friendly and fast service. I hear they have a Sunday Brunch too. Can't wait to try that too.
Pros: Tasty food
Cons: none
This is my first review. Creepy.....my brother and I went to this place and before we could enjoy our food we saw something on the wall that had some legs that crawled. So we just left. If you decide to eat there please be really careful.
Pros: nothing
Cons: everything.
I've eaten at Don Cucos on several occassions. The food is always tasty, and as was said by others, the Margaritas are potent and tasty. The ambience is very nicely done with the feel of an outdoor Mexico patio at night; fountain, faux trees, and all. I would eat here more often, but it is a bit on the pricey side (expect to pay $12-18, and Margaritas are $6 each) When ordering your soup, don't pass up on the tortilla chicken soup -- it's yummy!
Pros: quality
Cons: , price
My first visit here was disappointing. 2nd time was great. Last time was awful. What's sad is that the ambience is great and so is the food, but the service is inconsistent and management does not seem concerned about it.
We watched our server chat with the manager for at least five minutes, hang out at the bar and generally just ignore his growing number of tables. Other tables waited an eternity for service.
When we spoke to the manager he did nothing and just said "we're busy". That was true when we left, but not when we arrived.
Inconsistent at best.
Pros: Good Drinks, Decorations, Good Food
Getting good Mexican (tex mex) food in Southern California is not a problem. There are restaurants and taco stands on every street. Don Cuco's is one of the good places. The food is tasty, the service is good, the ambience is well done, and the margaritas are strong. Everything Los Angelenos want in a Mexican Restaurant.
Pros: Margaritas
