I went into this auto department to get a new battery for my car,the clerk there was very friendly,helpful,more than your regular mechanic,the service was great,prices was fair,i would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Since 2007 I have taken my cars, all 4 to Dick Adams. I have found them to be honest and fair. They will fix what you brought your car in for, plus let you know what other items need or might need to be fixed or looked at. They are priced less than a dealership with the same type of mechanics. If you are like me, you want a fair price, great service and know your car is road ready.
Owner is rude. Service prices are outrageous. I will never take my vehicle there again.
I have been taking my car there since Dick was working there and now his son jimmy have been working on my cars. They have been very hoset and up front with my. They give you a full inspection of a car and suggest things that might need to be changed or worked on. It is you choice if you decide want to do. It may be a little bit more than other shops but it is customer service knowing that they will take care of you if somthing goes wrong. Some people dont understand having your car worked on is never fun its like going to a dentist just somthing you have to do. So at least you get a good experiece and feeling when you leave dick adams automotive.\r

Stay away from them. They did work on my car and the wheel fell off while I was driving. Thankfully my family was not injured. However, their lack of care or compassion was astounding. We were yelled at by the owner when we went in to tell him what happened. All he could say was people make mistakes and either ""they fixed the new damage or to bad."" They would not even consider paying for another shop to inspecting the new repairs needed because of there poor job the first time. We explained we did not want them fixing it again. The owner also said he had no faith in any other repair shop in the state of California. Stay away !
They pad the work with ""suggested"" lists of things to be done whether they need it or not. Excessive charges (1 item that cost $289 in two different places) was over $700 there. Two additional items over $1000 more were unnecessary. They get around it by saying ""it was only a suggestion"". I know of 3 people now that went in for smogs and were told they needed hundreds of dollars worth of work to pass (one was over $4000). They went down the street and passed without any work (all three).

If your vehicle has a system or component with an inherent safety, emissions, or reliability problem and there is a factory fix available for it, we will be able to make you aware of it and repair the problem for you. Regardless of the type of problem of the system at fault, certain aspects of diagnosis remain the same. You see, in order to accurately diagnose the cause of any problem the technician needs the problem to (predictably) occur twice. This is because a first observation provides the technician with some insight needed to plan a focused testing strategy. A focused testing strategy saves diagnostic time and dollars.
