Just ate at this new restaurant only open 8 days. I love good Armenian lamb shish kabob (grew up on it in central calif) so I was excited to I try it. I've never found a restaurant that could even come close to Hagoppian's marinated lamb shish kabobs in Visalia.

I ordered the lamb shish kabob plate with a side of cucumber tomato salad. The lamb was tough & bland. I thought the menu said "marinated" but I found no evidence of flavor. It tasted old. For $14.95, I got 5 small kabobs, plus 1/2 plate of butter flavored white rice, 1 grilled tomato, 1/4 grilled yellow & 1/4 grilled red pepper. The tastiest item was the grilled vegetables which were seasoned with their natural flavors. The cucumber tomato salad was bland & soaked in oil, very disappointing...it's all going into the garbage now.

I hope that this restaurant adds flavor &/or pizazz into their menu, because I love Armenian food, it's a beautiful location, the owner is really nice/friendly & I would love for this business to be successful.
