I frantically called the shop because my car started making a funny noise. I called 12 other shops in the area just trying to get someone to take a quick look at it. They were the only shop that didn't try to set me an appointment two

After I got gas there one day, I went inside and asked whether they might be able to take a look at my horn, which was not working. A mechanic came right out, checked out a couple things under the engine, and fixed it right then and there for no charge. I have since taken my car back for a couple major repairs have been very happy with the service. Their prices are competitive with the dealership, and I like going to a small local business.

Holiday Auto Care has been a complete life saver for me. They are kind, honest, prompt, and efficient, and I couldn't recommend them more highly.

I used to have an old Camry, and at one point it needed its belts replaced. HAC replaced the belts, and when they needed replacing again later on, HAC informed me that the belts were still under warranty and that I wouldn't have to pay a penny.

When the Camry was on its last leg and was having problems starting, I took it in to see if there was anything HAC could do to help. They gave the car a full inspection, filled up the oil (which was empty because it was leaking in several places), and gently told me that it was time to get rid of the car. They only charged me for the cost of the quart of oil (about $4).

Recently, I bought a used Jeep, and the day I brought it home it wouldn't start. I waited a few hours, got it to start, and took it to HAC. Mark, the owner, is incredibly kind, helpful, and understanding, and is helping me deal with the dishonest dealership and get my car moving again. Words can't express how grateful I am for Mark. He is truly an angel.

It is nice to that there are a few good honest places to get a vehicle fixed!! I was referred to Holiday Auto Care by another business. I had to thank them for the excellent referral. They took fantastic care of me when I was in a real tight situation. They were honest and treated me great! My car has not been worked anywhere else since and never will again.

It is so hard to find good service in any industry now days, it seems. After my initial transaction with these folks, I was curious to see how I would fare the next go around. Every experience since then has been EXCELLENT!!! If anyone asks where to find a good mechanic, I refer them here.

I am willing to pay a few extra bucks for some good honest dependable service anytime!! They are worth every cent I have given them! I wish I would have found out about this place 20 yrs ago.

I've done business with Holiday Auto Care and the owners for over 20 years. The service has always been excellent and they go the extra mile to give you that personal attention you don't receive at a big dealership. In fact at a big dealership you will probably never meet the individual that works on your vehicle. There is a good chance when you go back the next time they may not even remember who you are and the mechanic that worked on your vehicle may not be working there anymore.
I noticed that an individual wrote a review complaining about their prices and the fact that they don't have a waiting room. I know for a fact that the mechanics at Holiday Auto Care have all the certifications and the high tech diagnostic equipment as any dealership. As far as pricing, they repaired a window switch on my Honda Ridgeline and a broken rear retractable seat. Honda wanted over $400 for the parts on the seat alone, Kacey figured out a way to fix it with a part that cost me $95. As far as a waiting room, why not go for a walk and get some exercise while your waiting?

Kudos to Copland's for the great service!!

From fixing a flat in less than 10 minutes to housing my truck overnight druing a snow storm to getting parts and making repairs faster than my car dealership I highly recommend this location.

I read the unflattering review on here and I don't agree with one person's "one experience". I have had more than 6 reasons to take my truck there and each time I was happy and SATISFIED.

Shop around all you want but good service is PRICELESS.

This is a rebuttle to Dan F's comment. When Cassie had her vehicle towed in to our shop it would not start. We charged 1 hour for diagnostic time (which is standard in the industry) .5 hour to replace the fuel filter and 2 hours to remove the fuel tank, drain the tank, replace the fuel pump, re install the fuel tank and replace the fuel filter for a total of $365.75 in labor. We charged the customer $393.86 for the fuel pump that was an original AC Delco pump not a bad price since our cost was $350.07! I think any business deserves to make some profit. For the parts and labor for the fuel pump alone was $603.86 The customer also asked for an oil change. The total for everything including fuel pump, filter, diagnostic time and oil change including all taxes etc was only $896.37 I am not sure where Dan got his numbers or why he is spouting off about us "over charging" him which clearly did not happen. Cassie was informed on what we were going to do and what the cost was before we started working on the vehicle.

Yes our labor charge is $104.50 per hour we have all A.S.E Certified Master Technicians working here. They have all the same training you would get with a dealership Technician. We have hac no complaints filed with the BBB. We have been in business since 1967. We are AAA approved and have a customer service index rating of 100% We provide excellent service at a decent price how can you go wrong with a record like ours?

Thank You, Mark Copeland

I have used Holiday Auto Care for my multiple auto needs for the past two years. They are consistently:

- convenient
- honest
- dependable

Mark, the person I deal with the most, is unfailingly polite and honest in his dealings with me. Unlike other shops that use "scare tactics" to try and get me, a woman who has no clue about cars, to buy all sorts of parts and work for my cars, he gives me a list, I ask him what is the bottom line to keep the car safe, and he tells me what that is. He then leaves the decision to me without further hassle or pressure.

As for pricing on work, I think they are competitive with most other shops. I have recommended this shop to all my friends for their auto repair needs.

My girlfriend took her car in the other day to get a fuel pump replaced and they charged her about $1,000!!! This is insane!! We got a quote from a Valvoline Express place on Evans Ave (about a mile away) as well as the dealership, and they were charging under $600. By the time we got the other quotes, the service was already complete, so it was too late.

I went with her to pick up the car that evening and talk to the shop about the high price of work, and they were arguing that the dealership wouldn't give us an accurate quote because they don't have the VIN number to look up the exact model and specifications of the car; according to the shop, each Oldsmobile has a different size gas tank and that the dealership would have to see the exact car to tell. This is BS!! I have a friend who works for a dealership and quoted me the price of the OEM fuel pump ($350.70) and the labor (at about 1.8 hours... which should be about $200) and it should have come out to under $600!! So, the dealership, Valvoline and a friend who works for a dealership all say that it should be below $600 and Holiday Auto Care says it should be about $1,000, I'm definitely not taking my vehicle to this place ever again.

Holiday Auto Care is a complete rip off!! Do NOT take your car there! On the positive side, the are quick at the repairs (but the guy said that there was a two week waiting period, but serviced the car the same day... how does that work?).

Anyway, enough with my rant. I don't recommend this place and DO YOUR HOMEWORK BEFORE TELLING A SHOP TO WORK ON THE CAR! I'm not one to complain like this unless I truly feel that this shop overcharging and misleading customers.

Pros: fast service

Cons: expensive, and treat you like you don't know anything!

.

Shop pricing here is 104.50 per hour. The dealership where I bought my car is 105 per hour. Not exactly a huge discount. What I had done:

Transmission flush and fill: Quoted $150, Charged 179.64.

Change oil in differentials and transfer case: Quoted $40 per axle, and $50 for the trans case (Total 120.) Charged 178.64.

I also had them replace the wipers and one brake light. Here are a couple jobs just screaming "We can take care of that. No problem." I was charged a premium price for the wiper blades (25.90 for the pair) AND parts and labor for the brake light.

All that after I told them I was sent there by an established lifelong customer. The waiting room? Oh that's the tiny convenience store with constant traffic. When I challenged them on pricing, I was greeted with scare tactics about how if I go anywhere else, I'll pay over $800 from the hidden fees. That was before they slapped me with all the hidden fees they charged.

When my friend touted this place I was sure I found my mechanics for life... My quest will continue and I will never darken their doorstep again.

I went here on the advice of a friend. This place is far too pricey for my blood. Transmission Flush and fill: Quoted 150.00 Billed 179.64 Change oil in Differentials and Transfer case: Quoted $40 per axle and $50 for Transfer case (130 Total) Billed 178.31. Labor rates at this shop are comparable to a dealership without a cozy place to wait for your repairs to be completed. Funny how I told them the maximum I had to spend was 600.00, and that turned out to be my bill. I had them pull a couple jobs and walked out of there with a 408.51 bill. Next time I'll just go to a dealership.
