                      .

Excellent vegetarian and vegan options, tantalizing pastries, and a pleasant atmosphere. A nice chain, the interior feels a little bit like a Panera or Atlanta Bread, but the quality and variety of the food is far better and there is waiter service. The servers were all friendly and attentive. I've been there twice for lunch now (first time at the Clarendon location), and have thoroughly enjoyed my meals. I've had the: -Organic Black Bean Hummus Tartine with avocado & spicy tahini spread -Organic Red Quinoa Salad with enoki mushrooms, alfalfa sprouts & basil pesto -White Bean Soup -Pink Grapefruit juice with a splash of lemon and agave (special) All these dishes were satisfying (perhaps surprisingly so-- quinoa, I'm looking at you!), and well-presented. Their bread is delicious-- simple and moist with a great flavor-- and make sure to ask for their chocolate-hazelnut spread. Next time I'll save room for the Pistachio Marzipan Tart. And I'll bring more friends. And I'll try dinner. Or breakfast.

                      Pros: Killer staff

Cons: Too liesurely at times but hey not a real problem

                      Message from Le Pain Quotidien

We’re a Belgian bakery and restaurant serving simple, wholesome and seasonal food. Le Pain Quotidien means “the daily bread” in French, and like our name suggests, we’re bakers at heart. Although our handmade, organic bread is how we got our start, we serve a variety of healthy options like organic coffee, pastries, eggs, tartines, soups, salads and desserts.

At Le Pain Quotidien, we believe that food should be simple, nourishing and delicious. That’s why we source ingredients that are local or organic whenever possible. We also believe in the importance of eating a healthy, plant-based diet, so you’ll find many vegetarian or vegan options on our menu.
