Wolfgang loves it here! He comes home exhausted. I love the cameras and the staff is extra friendly and accommodating! If it were closer to us - we'd take him during the week when we were at work too!

I've searched high and low for a day care and boarding facility that I'd feel comfortable leaving my bulldog puppy with and was so happy to find Camp Bow Wow.

The team at Camp Bow Wow is without a doubt completely committed to the job

I have used Camp Bow Wow since they first opened their doors in November 2009, I believe Shadow was their first "camper". I did my research on many facilities prior to choosing Camp Bow Wow and am NOT sorry I chose them. They are just wonderful - not only to pet owners but to the pets themselves. The facility is well taken care of, the staff well-trained and caring. They treat the animals as if they were their own and I couldn't ask for more peace of mind than that. My dog is always eager to go there - which speaks volumes. I know he looks forward to going to "camp" each day (His constant tail wagging gives it away). I have also used their boarding services without any incident. I always recommend them to friends and family (and strangers at the dog park) without ANY hesitation.

Camp Bow Wow North on Ruthar Dr. is the best! The caring staff always knows us by name, even though we only bring our GSP (German Shorthair Pointer) in once, or so, a week. I can watch the staff watch over and supervise my dog all day long! Supervision was very important to me when chosing a place for my beloved pet to spend time, just like children, dogs can get into scraps and the staff is always there to manage them. The staff is friendly and always have a smile on their faces ~ even when my michievious dog lets all of the others out of the playyard and they have to chase them all down! They have affecionately named her Houdini! I would and have recommended Laurie and her staff to many friends, and will continue to do so in the future! With Love, Houdini's Mom, :)

Do Not Use Camp Bow Wow. I brought my dog (a lab mix) in for boarding for 7 days. When I picked him up, I was told he was ill. I was surprised since he had his annual physical at his vet 3 days before boarding and was fine. He has always been a very healthy dog. They preceeded to tell me what they though was wrong with him (they diagnosed kidney stones because he had blood in his urine). I immediately called the vet. After many tests, turns out he had an infection that the vet believes came from "where he was boarded."

Not once during the 7 days my dog was boarded did they call me or the emergency contact to let either of us know what was going on so immediate vet care could be arranged. I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN.

This is one of the cleanest, most efficiently run doggie daycares/boarding facilities that I've ever been to. I used to take my dachshund to Dogtopia since I live in Wilmington, but I'd MUCH rather make the 15 minute drive to Camp Bow Wow instead after checking this place out. A friend told me about this place, so I thought I'd go in for a tour (she said they give free tours all week long with no appt. necessary), and, wow, did I get a wonderful tour!

During my tour, I actually got to see where my baby will be staying when I board her during the holidays and what she'll be doing while I'm away. I was very impressed with the open "play yards" that are connected to outdoor yards so the dogs can go in and out to relieve themselves. There seems to always be at least one employee with the dogs at all times, and it's obvious they care about the dogs and have fun with them (as one counselor who was with the big dogs was running around with her, and the other with the small dogs had four climbing all over him!) I was also shown the large "cabin" that my dog will be staying in, and everything that's included in the cost (no extra charges for anything, which is great since she is on medication and gets special food). I also noticed the cameras in each play yard, and I was told that it's actually all on webcam! This is great for when I want to check up on her.

I got a really good feel from CBW, and look forward to taking my dog back for daycare before I board her. The dogs are playing all day long (I was told they are only in their cabins for meals and sleeping), and I was so relieved to see employees who actually care about what they're doing! I recommend Camp Bow Wow to anyone who cares about their dog and wants to get the most for their money.
