When I meet friends for a night out, we like to sit in the bar area and order drinks and appetizers. We tried Provence over the weekend and tried a variety of stuff from the escargot to the cheese board and the tuna appetizer. It was all really good! The server was very nice and provided some great service to our group. The wine he recommended was perfect for what we got. It was a great experience overall!

Everything, from the homemade bread to the French onion soup to the grilled fish to the escargot, is well-presented, fresh, and delicious. Service has always been good, and the place is intimate and perfect for a night out with your date. I took my girlfriend here recently for her birthday, at her request (she'd been here with friends before) and it was just as good as she'd described it.

I've been going to this location since it was the Mustard Tree. As A La Provence, it's totally amazing. The entrees are beautifully prepared, the bread is house made, and the cheese board is amazingly created and uses local cheese. We

Provence is a unique local Tallahassee restaurant tucked away in Market Square. The menu consists of gourmet entrees and appetizers that are hard to find in this area. The bread is house made daily and is served with fresh butter and olive tapenade. There is a full bar in the back that has everything from beer to mixed drinks to a host of wines and champagne for special occasions. The food is fresh, their cheeses are local, and the service is friendly and punctual without rushing the patrons. The prices are what one would expect for good food, but it's fairly priced. I've been pleased every time I've been here. We mainly sit in the bar area, where there are tables available, but I've been here with family in the main dining area as well. It's a wonderful place to bring out-of-town guests so they can experience some of the hospitality Tallahassee is known for.
